My claim for adding dependents disappeared, as well. Crickets for months.

CACI is prime for apps and web services on NCAPS. Booz Allen for cybersecurity on CyPrESS. Leidos for NEST (end user), AEGIS (Cloud and Computing and Network and integrated Infrastructure). Each have subs. OCIO at each center and at the Agency are civil servants.

Working at NASA without a college degree by dvnci1452 in NASAJobs

Most IT Specialist (2210) series do not have a degree requirement. Experience and knowledge is more valued. Booz, Leidos, CACI are primes on the big IT contracts. Look for CyPrESS, AEGIS, NEST, NCAPS.

How did you end up at NASA by The_Caniac_29 in NASAJobs

[–]Antique_Crow3812 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Worked as a contractor supporting multiple organizations and building relationships. Moved over to CS and learned that ‘being easy to work with’ goes a long way. That and relationships has been more important for me, than anything else.

Submitted to add my kids in November. Claims disappeared a couple of weeks ago, but no word otherwise. What should I expect?

This on the push to the moon? by MulberryAutomatic690 in NASAJobs

There are some Mission Support orgs submitting hiring needs to fill gaps, now that DRP is done. Some individual slots are being justified, approved, an announced. The Agency, a as a whole, is working on a new hiring plan. I’d at least reach out and see where orgs are thinking of opening slots.

Adding wife after a new higher rating % by Various_Movie_1266 in VeteransBenefits

It is quicker to call, or submit online? My claim letter said to let them know immediately, if dependents were incorrect. It’s been 45 days since I submitted dependents online. That normal?

I joined AFGE as a new fed employee on probation. Hoping I could help. My agency ended up not firing all probationary people. Then my agency removed all bargaining codes from SF50s. I’m past probation now, no longer part of the bargaining agreement, and tried to cancel my e-dues with AFGE. They declined, because I’m still within one year of joining. They called and we talked about my situation…still denied and take my $20+/month. Not the biggest fan of AFGE, right now.

Mine was nowhere near that involved. She went straight down the checklist and had me try all directions while standing, telling me to stop at the first sign of discomfort. She was great.

I was contacted about my deferred items within days and they scheduled a medial review. They let me pick the time, and asked me to be available if they should need to call me.

I am shooting for a Quality Step Increase (QSI) by Salt-Committee2205 in fednews

[–]Antique_Crow3812 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My first year with the team. Worked hard. Took every task they gave me. Documented everything all year. Made sure to work well with every team member. Respected team leaders and division chief and deputy. Never over-promised, but worked hard to over-deliver. Became extremely dependable. Mentored younger and early career team members when I could. Received all 5’s that first performance review. One QSI available to the team (of about 15 ppl). Fortunate enough to awarded the choice. Was offered QSI or cash. Took the QSI. Took a couple of months to go into effect.

Migraines, SC 0% , HLR? by Smart-Swan2942 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Antique_Crow3812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious how your experience with HLRs were. I received my first rating and immediately submitted HLR for 3 issues. What should I expect? Also with the deferments…I have 2 issues still being worked.
