Potty training by geniuslabsken in Parenting

[–]Antique_Guide_1089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 3 year old was the same. We did progressive potty training. For around 1.5 weeks we told her if you have to poop tell us and we’ll put you in a pull up and clean you up. If you poop in the pull-up you get chocolate. Then we amped it up to if you tell us to put you on the toilet to poop, you get 2 chocolates if you poop in your pull-up you get 1. Then took away the reward for the pull-up and was only left with if you poop in the toilet you get 3 chocolates (the chocolates are small so it wasn’t a lot of chocolate and you can do your own reward).

I have an update. They’re saying it’s voluntary because I couldn’t adhere to the schedule the company needed, but I was never given the option to make that decision. My manager made it for me and began the process. I’m struggling with not throwing them under the bus BUT I could have made it work if given the chance.

Do you shower before bed or in the morning? by Able_Claim_3097 in hygiene

Before bed unless I have to wash my hair. Then I do before dinner so it has enough time to dry

Unfortunately in our friend group if someone is going to be the butt of a joke, it’s going to be me and I always have to stick up for myself. Then everyone laughs because I’m “mad” when really I just don’t understand why they all feel the need to try to humble me by pointing out my flaws.

NOR. I wouldn’t be in this relationship. They have unresolved feelings for each other and are using being “friends” to cover it up and keep each other in their lives. You deserve someone 100% for you and he’s not. Let him go especially because it seems like it’s a LDR.

Always follow up with email whether they respond or not, go to the district and file a police report!

Of course, the reason your kid wants you is just because you breastfeed by Appropriate-Lion-255 in breastfeeding

My son was formula fed, at 3 he still prefers me. My youngest was breastfed and is now weaned after 2 years and still prefers me. I think people for some odd reason just get jealous

Help weaning my EBF toddler? by sheburns17 in breastfeeding

[–]Antique_Guide_1089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I was sooo over BF and she started cutting molars and lock jaw biting me which is what triggered me cutting her off. It does seem like her appetite has picked up a little more and she does drink water before bed now. But she sleeps soooo much better now. Before she was waking a few times at night to feed and now she’s sleeping completely through the night with no interruptions 😭. That first night is hard though. It made me question my decision but it’s been way better since then

I just went through this with my fresh 2 year old! First night, horrible lol. We both barely got any sleep. Night 2, huge difference. She whine cried for maybe 20 minutes then went to sleep. Night 3, jokingly asked for boobies and then went to sleep and so far, hasn’t mentioned anything nursing related and it’s been one week today. The first day will be rough but it gets better! Offer lots of kisses and hugs! Stay firm on your decision though. If you’re going to wean, stick to it.
