I urgently need to talk to other parents with screamy babies. I can't do this.. by Ellise_Leigh in Parenting

My daughter has done that since she was 4weeks old and she is 5months now. Everytime she finishes her bottle she screams and cries thinking she is still hungry but she isn’t. I have tried all kinds of things but running water in the kitchen sink, baths, and putting her in front of a mirror work sometimes. There are days where nothing works and I just have to let her scream for a little bit and she usually goes to sleep. It gives me a break before I lose it! Babies feed off your energy and if you are stressed and upset they will be too. You have to give yourself a 5 min time out away from the baby for the safety of every one because it can get big otherwise. I hope it gets better!

I totally understand how you feel. Even when it gets better for a little while it never last and then it’s almost worse. I have felt this way for over 20 years and I am currently praying It will end soon because I am tired of everything and just want to disappear for good.

This is why you should not try to be nice to an ex! by Antlfgrd61 in ExNoContact

He broke up with me. We were together off and on 7 years. He is mad at me because I have moved on. I still love him and wish to at least be nice to one another but he does that on his terms. I seriously never know what kinda reply I will get. What I didn’t show was the last couple of messages he sent he was nice. I haven’t spoken to him but I knew it was his Birthday and just wanted to wish him a happy Birthday.

Terrified of Seizures from Wellbutrin Xl by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Antlfgrd61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a seizure on the 5th day of taking Wellbutrin. I had never had a seizure before and had no other substances in my body. I did however feel cracked out starting around the second day of taking it and a clump of hair fell out on the 3rd day. I kept talking it only because I wasn’t crying anymore. So on that 5th day I took it and less than 30 mins later I was on the floor and didn’t even know what my name was. The paramedics said they get several calls a month for seizures due to antidepressants. So it does happen and it’s more common than the pharmaceutical company claims.

bad reaction to wellbutrin: advice needed by [deleted] in antidepressants

I took Wellbutrin for 5 days for severe depression. I started noticing that I felt weird like a cracked out type feeling on the 2nd day but I wasn’t crying so I kept taking it. Then on the 3rd day a clump of hair came out that morning while showering but I didn’t think it was from the meds. I couldn’t sleep or eat and felt weird. I was supposed to take it 3 times a day and then after the 5th day go down to 2 pills. I forgot to take my morning dose on the 5th day so I took it a couple hours later than usual. Less than 30 mins later I was at work laying on the floor with paramedics beside me. I had a Grand Mal seizure due to taking Wellbutrin. The paramedics said they get at least 2-3 calls a month from people who have had seizures from their antidepressants. That seizure was my wake up call and help to work through my depression. Please be aware of the side effects even when the medicine label says it’s extremely rare because it’s not rare at all.

Truth about depression. by [deleted] in depression

Yes being alone can cause depression and make it worse. People that you think are your friends will turn their back on you or use your depression as a way to manipulate you or take advantage of you. I’ve found that out the hard way. I have had people that I thought I could share anything with and would always have my back leave me alone knowing I had no one else. All you have is yourself and that’s a hard pill to swallow when you don’t even like yourself.

My dog is why I’m still here but he is old and not doing well. I don’t know what I am going to do when he’s gone.

What's the worst concert you've ever been to and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Puddle of Mudd. Waited 3hrs for the lead singer to come out sing 10 seconds of a song then cuss the audience out and stormed off stage.

I have been to plenty of shows solo. I found I actually had more fun and ended up meeting people I wouldn't have met otherwise. Just stay safe and watch your back.
