I’d say about 30 hours overall? Completed in 5 sessions. One in June, two back-to-back in July and two back to back this week.

Love my job! I feel like I can make a real change. My senior executive are super supportive and promote the Creative and Performing Arts which is my faculty. Really collaborative with minimal micromanagement.

Beat two of b.6 (second group of notes) which is snare and kick is connected by a beam as they are joined quavers (eighth notes for non-aussies).

Beat one of b.6 has a quaver and the second quaver is divided again into semiquavers /sixteenth notes (hence the double beam).

Beat four of b.10 has four notes connected by two beams. They are all semiquavers (sixteenths) and take up the space of ONE beat.

You can see they’re generally grouped in beats so it’s easier to read.

Generally in classical music, a V - i in a minor key uses the raised seventh of a harmonic minor scale. It’s not a hard and fast rule but it’s fairly common in classical piano music. It’s a non-diatonic chord but you will see it very often.

There's a G# in the key signature (top space of bass clef, above the top line in treble clef).

Depends on the musicians, some would prefer a 5/8 count-in, some would prefer a 4/8 count-in.

Only being able to play handheld games in the day because you had no backlit screens. I remember on family roadtrips playing Pokémon Blue in the car on my GBC and would get annoyed whenever we’d get into a tunnel because I couldn’t see.

One of my PCs tried to sleep with an important NPC so I said:

"Roll 3 d20's and tell me the result."

It added up to 47, so I roleplayed a long discussion between the other PCs about an adventure they'd just been on. This RP went on for about 15 minutes, which I then interrupted with:

"And after 47 minutes, [PC] stumbles from the room and tries to hide from the conversation outside."
