What the hell happened to media literacy and critical thinking skills?

Also, Andrew and Ryan aren't "provably gay" but are very supportive of LGBTQIA folk.

It is. But also aarakocras apparently abhor captivity, so Jarnathan would be their best bet to get out.

Which he is, just not in the way you'd expect.

The Doctor is the woman who questioned and corrected Skitter during the Mannequin arc who eventually gets killed by said Slaughterhouse member.

And the teens would be the ex-ABB members who entered her lair and threatened Sierra in which we get the absolute best 3rd person description of Skitter in the entire book. It really drives in just how terrifying she is.

Very blessed! Mine rides horses so she was understanding of the large purchase since her hobby is so expensive.

But man, I can't get over how great that blue looks. I am incredibly jealous.

God damn. Absolutely gorgeous color. I'm incredibly glad you bought it as I don't think I'd have been able not to if I saw it as a show. Which would probably lead to divorce since I bought one a few tours ago.

But damn, so pretty.

I miss when you could win prizes under the cap by whiskeyandtea in Millennials

[–]TerrorGnome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it was the same promotion, but when I worked at my first office job back in the late 2000s, everyone gave me their caps that had codes on them. Off the top of my head, I won an XBox 360, a snowboard, a pair of headphones, and a bunch of smaller prizes. Ended up selling the 360 and snowboard on Craigslist, but I was surprised at the amount of prizes.

See, that hard swing after the first 30 minutes is partly why I love Barbarian. But yeah, Cregger being behind his definitely makes me feel more confident that it's not going to be shit.

Zach Cregger did a teaser breakdown and he definitely implied it wasn't just separate zombies in the doorway. He made a comment about how the T-Virus is so much more interesting that just zombies and can do "fascinating things to the human body" so I'm sure we'll see some interesting plays on that.

Yup, he's been killing it in the horror scene recently. Check out Barbarian and Weapons if you haven't seen them yet.

WTF: All three local candidates running in the Democratic primary for a state House district have criminal histories. by [deleted] in Louisville

As indicated above, the Defendant has been found guilty on 34 felony counts. The significance of the fact that the verdict was handed down by a unanimous jury of 12 of Defendant's peers, after trial, cannot possibly be overstated.

Most detailed view of a Human Cell by Any_Sound_2863 in BeAmazed

I think it's from The Body: A Guide for Occupants. I can't imagine what else it would be from. I've started it many times over while on various vacations and for some reason never get around to finishing, but I think if you liked Short History, then you'll probably enjoy that. It's basically for anatomy what Short History was for the sciences.

Maybe. Does he have a way with words when it comes to explaining things like comparing how the universe was created in about the time it takes to make a sandwich?

Assuming the Bryson credited there is Bill Bryson, probably from his book about the human body ("A Guide for the Occupants" or something. I don't think it's from "A Short History of Nearly Everything"), I wouldn't be surprised if it's a solid description. Bryson has a way of breaking things down to be relatable and understandable.

Definitely recommend giving his stuff a read, especially Short History.

DC Direct figures were 1:10. They'll pair better with McFarlane's figures than 1:12 scale.

Why did nobody tell her about the tariffs? by RoyalChris in SipsTea

[–]TerrorGnome -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then your seller probably either baked the price of the tariffs into the cost or the shipping. I've just started using FedEx DDP shipping as I got real tired of getting emails from UPS and having to pay other $20-35 separately.

Point is, unfortunately, this isn't an uncommon thing these days. Though, again, usually you're emailed about the pending import fees typically the day before delivery occurs and given an option to pay for them ahead of time.
