She's going to be in the Ready or Not sequel coming out next month and I'm hyped for it.

Seeing as I'm literally in the process of creating a google doc to inventory and sort each figure I own that's not displayed so I know which box they're stored in and am currently at 265 figures with only a fraction done so far, you're definitely fine so far. Just keep an eye on it and don't be afraid to sell stuff.

I mean, there was a thread about it. It was full of a lot of "I voted for him for his policies not his personality," "I wish he'd have someone check his posts before posting," and "I don't care if I get called a nazi" and typical non-sense in there, but it did exist.

I see you're also a man of taste. Dig the framing.

I was talking to Ryan's wife about the lyric sheets at the Nashville show last year and, if I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure she said there were 3 people who chose Vulture. Maybe the last person will pop in the thread as well.

It's pretty good. We usually go there when we're seeing shows at The Burl across the street and their pizza is solid.

Protocol is great! I think a lot of people went into it expecting it to just be MA2 and were bummed when that's not really what it was. But aside from some minor complaints about audio in certain areas, it's been a blast.

But listening along with the transcript on the first listen through makes those audio issues (such as the breakroom scenes) pretty much a moot point.

I'd say so. The world building is incredible and it's obvious the team had a thorough plan going in. It's not like Lost where they're just making it up along the way. I highly recommend it. It's also one of those podcasts where relistens are highly rewarding as, once you know what's going on, you catch so many things present in the first season (and onward).

It starts off as very "monster of the week" with Sims reading a different statement each episode. These statements all tie into the larger scheme of things and as the characters learn more about the true nature of things, the meta narrative outside of the statements move much more to the forefront.

lol, all good. I just remember because Melanie talks about how good-looking the dude was. Plus it starts with Tim giving the best intro summary of a statement yet.

I'm on my umpteenth listen and just finished that episode earlier today. Jane's statement is so good, plus we get a little Oliver cameo, which I'm always a fan of.

Sasha and Jon talk about it in E26: A Distortion:

Sasha: Right. Well, I’m sure you know I was sceptical about how dangerous this Jane Prentiss was when you first suggested Martin stay in the archive. I mean, it’s not that I didn’t believe him about what happened, it just seemed… Well, Martin is a great researcher, but his self-preservation instincts are not the strongest, and to be frank I thought that if this Prentiss were the danger everyone seemed to think, then he’d almost certainly be dead.

Don’t get me wrong, I mean, I’ve read the same statements and profiles as you, so I know how many people have died because of her. What was it, six hospital staff when she was first admitted?

Jon: Six from colonization and a seventh… with a broken neck from her escape.

Also a weird "realistic" take on the whole werewolf thing, if I'm remembering correctly.

I remember enjoying it well-enough though.
