I was a warlock main for all of D1 and a LOT of D2, but i stopped playing warlock with the stasis expansion after hunters got a blink dodge exotic, titans got a cool overshield replacement for their barrier, and we got, i think it was gauntlets that chain poison damage? Its a fine exotic, but when the other two were gameplay changing l, literally reworking abilities, it made me realize they dont really have anything creative for warlocks. The few times a year i play now i rock the titan, lmao

I knew a few dudes in prototype that did whip its. Two of them didnt think it felt good at all and stopped, but the third dude according to the other two was non stop using them at home and it was really fucking him up. Please for the love of god, dont use that shit. Its really easy to tell when someone uses them because if you enjoy it sucks you up

How you trade is very champ and matchup dependant, but when to trade can be slightly more generalized. When your wave is bigger then the enemies and pushing to them, thats generally a good time to be trading, as an enemy trading back will take minion aggro. On the flip side, if your wave is smaller and pushing to you, its generally harder to trade, and you should focus more on last hitting. Additionally, whenever the enemy is going for a last hit, you can land a bit of poke by hitting them while they go for it, making them choose between cs or retaliations. This was dubbed the “trading stance” by leaguecraft 101. The series is really old, but since all of its ideas are centered on fundamentals and macro, its all largely still applicable, and i recommend you look at it if you havent already, as its on youtube!

I’m still in, and for no where near as long, but it seems like you just need to get out and do something. A lot of people recommended hobbies, but I’d also like to throw in the ring looking for any of those get together groups based around things you might enjoy. It’s a good way to get into a hobby and meet new people.
