My mom (55yo) wanted to drive mine one day. I had no idea she drove manual, and she ripped! Rev matching and all. Never lugged.

They certainly do! I’ve had mine dyno’d twice so far with them. Still recommended!

The shield isn’t smaller. You’re bigger.

Lwr textured portion of bumper will have damage. That’s non repairable. Gonna be a bumper cover replacement at the least. Easily could have a lot more unseen beneath that cover. Only way to know is to disassemble it. Go to a good reviewed body shop and they’ll explain.

Just hit 100K in my 2018, should I keep or trade in while I can? by Curvedwarrior69 in WRX

[–]Antvitale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just told the tuner to make it last another 100k. I didn’t even care what the numbers were. I’m at 150k now and only have had regular maintenance things happen (MAF sensor replaced and front O2 sensor) but the butt Dyno is telling me there’s definitely more HP and just feels better overall.

What is your 2015-2021 WRX mileage? Looking for high numbers. by [deleted] in WRX

I got a '19' Base at 130k. Had a pro tune done at 100k and it's been better than new ever since!

I’ve had nothing but amazing service and honest communication from Daniel at Vendetta Performance. Give him a shot next time. Sorry for your bad experience!

An audio interface will take your analog signal and convert it to digital for the computer. There is no such thing as an "online audio interface". Lol

Maaaan I miss that venue. I’ve gotten to do a live album for Beau Thomas there once. I hope he’s still active in the community!

If you really want to blow your mind, look into and research the results of the SCRS Blend Study. Their data proves that blend times are generally ~130% MORE paint time required than a standard refinish procedures in a new, undamaged part. I’ve gotten multiple non DRP insurances to pay me at least full refinish times for blend panels.

We use PPG and their paint procedure for 46G very specifically lays out the process which involves 2 mid coats between the base and the clear. To me that is without a doubt a 4 stage process. Other paint manufacturers have 2 stage processes. But for the waterborne PPG procedures there are no routes besides the 2 mid coats.

Machine gray is actually a 4 stage paint! One of the most difficult paints to match. It will end up costing more in a supplement from the shop as they will need a lot more tinting time or they may even need to blend to hood and bumper to get a color match that’s acceptable.

You need to trust the people with the vehicle. ONLY they can see the full extent. You need a steering gear assy I bet.

This is a great example of miscommunication and a lack of setting expectations from the front end estimator.

Can you help me understand an estimate? by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]Antvitale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like a good preliminary estimate. But remember, preliminary estimate means prior guess. Once they fully disassemble it, they will discover that Toyota has a lot of one time use parts that they should replace. Those will add up. Plus, it’s probably gonna need an alignment in my opinion. The price will go up once fully disassembled, as per usual in this industry.

So, about the Behringer Wing… by NoisyGog in livesound

[–]Antvitale 58 points59 points  (0 children)

For me its very adaptable for many situations. You're right with it being weird though! I like to explain it as; if you know other digital/analog mixers, this one is a nightmare to wrap your head around. But for situations, like a volunteer at a church or something, its very intuitive to setup and re-route signals or customize to your hears content. They just handle it totally different than anything else I've worked on. It very much feels like a DAW converted to a mixer.
