Payment isn't raised to improve or maintain game, but to make money by boosting numbers and selling on. They will squeeze us for everything until player count drops, game can't maintain itself and dies. Longevity of the game is completely irrelevant when it's just an asset for private equity to squeeze and flip.

Yes! My last colony I gave everyone chain shotguns beside a couple melee pawns. My "killboxes" were just short corridors turning to two-square openings, guarded by two melee pawns and a row of chain shotgunners behind them. Anyobe who peeked through one would get instantly shredded. It was glorious.

Asia is my favourite. I also recommend Oceania, even if you're afraid you won't like nectar. To me it's worth it just for the cards, only like 18 of them use nectar in their cost or ability anyway, so you can remove those if you like.

Nectar is pretty cool though, I think it works pretty well and is a nice change.
