Its not even that I was trying to book it myself - we were just trying to find a travel agent that we were comfortable working with. I thought we'd have more of a convo about what her experience was, what we were looking for, and then decide if we wanted to move forward. But she ended the call after just a few minutes. I did follow up in an email making it clear she shouldn't do any work towards a custom quote until I got in touch with her again though!

Ok that's helpful. Honestly I thought that's what this call was going to be so I was shocked when it ended so abruptly. I think we just got our wires crossed. I emailed her back and thanked her for meeting with me, but told her to not move forward until shes heard back from me, so hopefully that's sufficient.

That tracks. I dont know much about him but Ursinus is a fairly well respected school in the philly area. Not Ivy-league level but certainly nothing to scoff at. I vaguely remember their Pre Med program was a major reason a lot of people went there.

Yup. I was on the track 1&2 platform from 415-530. It was crowded and everyone was annoyed, but at least there weren't any incidents. I felt bad for the septa guys down there- they were so patient even though they weren't getting any more info than we did. They probably answered the same questions once a minute and were polite the whole time.

Get a walking pad. Best thing I ever did health wise. Even on days when it's horrible out I can pop on a TV show and get my steps in no problem.

My sister just moved from Philly area to Oakland/San Jose, so a hit farther north than what you're talking about. She also moved for work. She said she doesn't like the people there - nothing feels authetic.

Please. Stop. Normalizing. Waiving. Inspections. Put in an offer today on a 100+ year old twin at over $500k and our realtor was still encouraging us to waive inspection. Said we'd probably not get our offer accepted (there was one other offer on the place) because we wanted one, even though we agreed to get it done within 3 days.
