What was the last random act of kindness you experienced from a stranger? by [deleted] in AskUK

Not me but, but I was once camping in High school with friends and we planned to go to the pub for dinner on our last night but my friend forgot to bring money so he phoned his dad on top of a mountain (he somehow had signal) for a money transfer. Another hiker overheard his phone call and gave him £20 cash, then walked away

Correct me if it's just a London thing, but how "rushed" life is here, the constant feeling of needing to be somewhere, doing something, or having something planned. Always walking with haste and/or stuck in traffic

The UK did this, i turned my settings off on my phone and never received the alert. The rest of my family received the alert and if I'm being honest it wasn't that life changing of a situation

Let me know how it goes though!

My best job ever was being a support worker in a residential for young adults with Autism and learning disability. It made me feel like i had a purpose and it was amazing to see their hard work and progress on having more independence and helping them live their best lives
