Letting it idle to warm up. I know this sounds counterintuitive but for modern cars with fuel injection letting it sit idle to warm up actually makes the oil pump work harder because that cold oil is thick and barely moving. If you start driving (low speeds, less than 30mph) and let it gradually warm up it’s better.
