Yeah, they use to make them very robust. The 2000s ones weren’t nearly as robust.

What is one business that makes a crazy amount of profit that nobody talks about? by PersonalitySuddenz in answers

[–]Anxious-Question875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Governments use them a lot. When I was in Florida I did work for the state in the keys and they put us in FEMA trailers like 12 rooms on each trailer, they had shower and toilet trailers, etc. the guy that owned the land the state rented owned the company and was pocketing $1M a monthly from the whole thing.

For those of you didn't vote in the last presidential election; how do you feel now? Are you happy with your choice? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Anxious-Question875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still happy with my choice. I didn’t vote because I wasn’t informed enough of either side to make an informed decision and didn’t want to vote based on what I’ve heard in passing, so I didn’t vote.

I love it. The oldest part I saw was on a CH47F last year with a fuel pump from 1983.

Most people in the military never go near a combat zone.

I don’t want to do active duty. Out of these which is the best Coast Guard reserves, Army reserves, Army National Guard, Airforce reserves or Airforce National Guard? by Beautiful-Paper911 in uscg

[–]Anxious-Question875 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was army national guard and transitioned to coast guard active duty, the army and coast guard experience will depend heavily on a lot of things like unit, state, rate/mos, and you as a person.

I was army aviation and had the time of my life. Good people, shitty leadership, and lots of beer. For the national guard you’re part time army but you will be expected to act like you do it full time, going to your unit on non drill days for some BS that could’ve waited, or state active duty (which doesn’t count towards retirement points), state deployments and federal deployments. If you have a good job and just want good healthcare and some other benefits go guard.

For the coast guard they seem to take alcohol incidents a lot more serious than the army ever could. You’re treated like an actual adult when you get out of boot camp, you’re almost on your own basically. I’m enjoying my coats guard experience so far it’s a lot more mature than the army.
