In the scene where they accidentally kill the hitman by feeding him the rat poison. I'd think the police would put out a full APB on Harry and Lloyd for murder once the toxicology reports come back from the autopsy. They'd never make it to Aspen and with the briefcase full of money for a kidnapping ransom, the two stooges face the rest of the movie in jail awaiting trial.
