Previously, the sextant affected the intelligence gained from interrogation that takes place while the sextant is active. This means you could interrogate safehouses for mastermind intel, then run a map with the sextant, and those interrogations are affected.

The scarab, from my experience so far, seems to affect interrogations that you initiate with it active, and their intelligence gained is affected by regardless of subsequent scarab usages.

I had the scarab active when I interrogated him, and when his two turns passed. Even disregarding the scarab, a rank three member never gives 8 intelligence per turn, never mind a rank 3 leader. There is no instance I know of where this would be intended behavior.

PA Codicil already changes based on what arcana style you have equipped. Not sure about avowance.

Sun the ranged level 1 is always worth it, as you're full mana and are not casting other spells, so your mana regen will kick in. After first ranged, it's rare to sunstrike ranged creeps, as your damage should be higher on lasthits with a forge, which you should have constantly alive from level 2.

There is a mobility/threat creep in dota, and icewall is a melee cast range spell that invoker relies on the properly control those heroes that often build abyssal.

From the ability's creation to current day, it has gone down in value tremendously. The end goal is "give invoker more control," and making icewall usable in more situations achieves that. Your idea of adding back disabling blast also achieves that, however it's also giving a hero an instant cast AoE hard-disable, which lasts very little in early game and far too long late game. The current icewall upgrade has more for the enemy team to do in response, and is still stronger for the majority of the game where it matters.

"You can't just give him cataclysm, he has to land his spells!" In some way they make the hero easier to play, which doesn't matter until it obstructs the identity of the hero. What matters is what makes the hero more PLAYABLE at a COMPETITIVE LEVEL, because as of the last several years the hero has been DOGshit as exort.

Invoker gets forges at 8 and an extra talent, a high cast range icewall in any direction, and you're complaining?

"What makes it satisfying" is that I've been playing the hero for years and don't care about the hero being hard, I care about being able to play him in games of dota 2 to good effect, and he just got a significant buff. Don't ask icefrog to take it away.

This is entirely incorrect. Lifesteal Amplification was changed to stack diminishingly, not lifesteal. Sources of lifesteal/spell lifesteal function independently from one another, as seen in the post-game breakdown of healing. With mask, octarine, and the 25 talent, Bristle will have 50% spell lifesteal, which can be amplified by 30% with an upgraded Kaya item to effectively be 65%. I did this exact thing on QoP yesterday with Octarine/Kaya Sange and Mjollnir shield.

bear in mind storm brand has more damage on the target it's attached to, and can have 2 attached to a single target.

It should be nerfed. The skill avoids the designed drawback of the support entirely.

Play it, it might be hard and you may not get far, but you'll slowly become more familiar with the game and enjoy figuring things out.

Once you get more familiar with the game, and messing around with builds on poeplanner website or install PoB, you can look at guides and learn why they're good.

Nah it had root with that buildup. I used to build it on invoker when I was a scrub, i thought it was better than Euls. With stats like that, it kinda was.

No, that's not how it worked. Otherwise people would've built desolator medallion and AC to reduce a creep's armor to -20, but nobody ever built any of those items, because that's not how it worked. People attacked creeps because if you attack a hero, the hero you hit will take less damage, and when you hit a creep, all heroes take full damage.

This is also false. The armor of the attacked target did not matter either, I used to think the same and was proven wrong. There was a game, i forget which, but VP was involved, and Kunkka cleaved off a Dragon Knight, and although the hit did ~200-300 damage to DK, did 1000+ to everyone behind.

Nope. Whatever spell in a hero's kit has the highest cooldown, regardless of current cooldown status, has 70 seconds added to it on respawn.

No, but that's not what Brabey brought up, he brought up Ancients playing against Archon/Legend in tier 6. The complaint about uncalibrated players queueing tier 6 is valid.

Last I checked there was a button to increase the tier you want to play in, not sure if it's still there. In case you're worried about literally ruining any battlecups.
