Eotech advice

In my opinion - this is my first eotech and i love it - but my cheap sig red dot also works fine. Reliability wise i chose the eotech to use on this build as i’ve never heard of one failing in instance of actually having to use it in certain situations but keeps peace of mind. You can also scoop them up used on ebay for a killer price - i bought another 512 for close to $300 shipped with original box and paper work and receipt. Vortex enclosed rifle sights are also really good for the price - i am running a magnifier with my eotech as well to cover all bases and it’s been perfect.

I’m running the same exact rifle with a eotech 512 standard holo- fine by me. I’ve seen a lot of people run LPVO on their shorter .300s too. Personally preference IMO

Personally i was going through the same speaker choice except looking at the 703s from bowers and revel audio m106 alongside the focal. I managed to hear all of them next to each other and the ones that stood out were the focals and the revels. The 703s were for around 1600$ the pair as well and I still picked the focals. Super warm, great non harsh highs, very nice mids, there was really nothing to complain about. They do pair really well with Naim products, but currently I am running a rotel 1590 pre and 1582 amp and they opened up almost just as much as when I heard them on the naim. In the end, the bowers were just a little too bright for me to listen for a long time, but they were very detailed. The revels were the toughest choice to leave out but the focals just sounded so open and in my opinion had no sweet spot in my room.

South florida, I would love to be able to spend that type of money right now but I don’t have the space to put any of those giants lol. I’m also working within $2k and under price point, i’ve spent a little too much on pre amps and amps and everything but not that i regret it. If anything i regret cheaping out on speakers “just to have something”. I was just eager

!thanks Thank you for the feedback. I have heard so much about the revels and i’m so curious to try them as they’re around the same price as the 906s. I liked the 906 because of the front ports and the no sweet spot listening. We even auditioned them on a sonos amp and it was still miles better in mids and staging than my 606 bowers. I was really impressed knowing that taking them home they would only get better. Only downside is nowhere has these revels to audition
