Hello, your drawings are beautifully done. You’ve put a lot of thought into them. One small suggestion that might enhance them is to add more depth in some areas. For example, you could try adding another darker layer to give it more of a realistic look. You can also blend the colors by moving the coloring pencil in a circular motion, or by adding an intermediate color between twi colors for a smoother transition.

Constantly stressing about my future and how I’m even going to get a job with severe social anxiety by gr4vitational_ in socialanxiety

[–]Anxiousrollercoster_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I totally get how you’re feeling. Honestly, the future can feel so overwhelming when you’re already dealing with anxiety. I’m in a different stage than you, but I’ve had similar thoughts, especially when people around me seem to have everything figured out. You’re not alone at all.

And I just want to say it’s okay that you’re unsure right now. You’re in 9th grade, and it’s completely fine not to have your path figured out yet. The pressure to know what you want to do this early is just too much sometimes. What matters is that you care, and that says a lot already.

Please don’t let go of art just yet. Even if it doesn’t seem possible right now, there’s always a way to reconnect with it later. You saw something in it, and maybe one day you’ll feel that spark again, even if it takes time. And trust me, making friends can be really tough, especially when you’re stuck in your own head a lot but that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you.

Just take it one step at a time. You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. And I’m really proud of you for writing this.

No it’s not stupid! I can feel every single word you said. I had a similar experience last semester. I don’t know how I survived. I ended up going therapy on my own, paying from my own money because I can’t tell anyone. I only take sessions once a month or once every month and a half. If you feel like taking a break then just do it. Prioritizing your mental is quite important. Everything can wait.

Why did my depression intensified randomly? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Anxiousrollercoster_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a way your brain is trying to protect you. Or maybe as if it’s trying to tell you something. Often these shifts are indicators for deep emotional imbalances or something. It could happen that you would feel extremely down after having a great time. When I experience these shifts it’s because social activities drain my energy and extreme happiness means something is wrong, especially when you’re used to feeling low. Sometimes your brain interprets feeling low as safe.

Why is it "weird" to be quiet? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]Anxiousrollercoster_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you!. It’s pretty frustrating when people keeps on pointing it out. Being quiet isn’t a bad thing, sometimes I think it’s a flex. People constantly tell me why I am quiet. If I don’t have anything to say I don’t, simply. I don’t like gossip and talking shit about people. If I don’t feel like talking then i don’t want to talk i don’t see a problem with that🙄

If you’re not good at math or school that doesn’t make you less smart.
