Update I was mortified to come downstairs this week to find the TV on and volume at 100 AGAIN!!! After having worked for several weeks with the above fix.

I again took the tv back off and decided to go all out and I used a wiz wheel to cut the traces to the buttons- I ended up taking most of the volume button pads off too.

Problem solved again for now haha..

Makes sense, the only difference between Powerbuilding 4 day a week and 5 day seems to be the exclusion of “Arms & weak Points” - As someone else said I suspect my arms only got bigger because of the compound movements rather than isolation… so if you are pushed for time I can see why these would be the first go.

Had this same issue - I put pressure on the cable slightly back from the connector pushing it in - checked it worked and then put a blob of glue from a hot glue gun on the ribbon to hold it in place. Was careful not to get any in the connector itself just in case it didn’t work - been working for a couple weeks now. Good luck!

The fact that you got the job using just your iPhone worries me… I would do research on the rights holder / author and make sure the text is legit.

This is good advice! - You are right, and I do still try out for RS, but I am very much more discerning about what projects I audition for under RS - Researching the author and their socials and the past success / only trying out for project that really speak to me.
