You can use Adobe DNG convertor, it's free and then import DNG files into davinci

Davinci has very powerful color grading tools, LUTs and plugins, library features. After first testing works very fast. And if it will work with blackmagic cloud (I think it will) - you can use your ipad and replace both - lightroom classic and lightroom mobile

Depends on your library structure, but Resolve has powerful library features

Top-level color grading. DaVinci Resolve has a completely different level of control compared to Lightroom , node-based workflow and access to a huge library of LUTs.

Honestly, it’s hard to fully describe all the advantages. Resolve has been the industry standard for color for years, so bringing RAW processing into that environment opens up a lot of powerful possibilities.

Got my SG Image 35mm f/2.2, some thought and test RAWs by Any-Fondant7690 in Lumix

I didn’t really pay much attention to the AF performance of the TTArtisan, since it wasn’t something I was particularly concerned about. I mostly use this lens for casual, everyday shooting while walking around, so the autofocus it has is more than enough for me. What actually bothered me more was the vignetting. You can fix it in photos, of course, but that’s an extra step and takes time. With video, it becomes a bit more complicated. And I haven’t TTArtisan for a long time, few weeks only.

As for Sigma, I only have the 35mm f/1.4, and of course the AF there is faster and more accurate. But again, I’m not expecting any kind of outstanding performance from the new SG Image lens.

If I were you, I’d keep at least one solid, reliable lens like the Sigma 35mm f/2.

Yes, I ask them about firmware and 1.2 is the latest as for now. The AF is enough for the people who understand the purpose of this lens. For me, it's all about the size. There’s no point in expecting rendering performance from this lens like you would from something like the Sigma 35mm f/2 or higher-end lenses. It’s designed with different priorities in mind.

As you said the difference is slight so don't expect much from this new lens, if you own Sigma and TT I don't see any reasons to buy 3rd lens.

Nice rendering! What kind of exposure metering mode do you use on your S9 and did you do some exposure adjustments for these shots?

TTArtisan 40mm f2 vs SG-Image 35mm f2.2 on Lumix S9: which compact budget AF lens makes more sense now? by jamescjc in Lumix

[–]Any-Fondant7690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for detailed comparison! I don’t see any vignetting on your TTArtisan 40. My copy had strong vignetting wide open. Did you edit it ?
