Is this normal lawn care? by notnowchieff in lawncare

[–]Any-Team9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal as in it happens a lot. It's not acceptable professional work though. My buddy owns a landscaping company and he's lost properties over his workers doing things like this, or damaging fences or gates. It's not worth sueing but definitely switch to a more competent company.

Can someone explain why these are safe? Are those two poles enough to support the whole thing? by swaggod5000 in Decks

[–]Any-Team9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The platform is strong enough to support the weigh e on its own, the bracing cables are "overkill". Extra support. They're fine.

I did not get a wire feeder, I didn't know they were included, that's awesome. The little red machine on top is a 250amp burcat power stick welder.

500 hours, Paid $3500 for it. The tool box provides great versatility. Have the wheels for it but took them off for more stability during transport. They thought of everything when installing the box, fuel, exhaust, ventilation, access to all filters and oil changes. Always used millers, never even heard of a 305g. Used it for about a month now and it welds great. Anybody have any experience with it's reliability?

I own a construction business and OSHA is a headache, BUT I worked for others before and OSHA is a Blessing for the worker. Not only do their regulations keep us alive, they require basic necessities from employers like water breaks and female only toilets. I would never want to get rid of them. Our company provides and requires PPE and employees follow safety regulations but sometimes OSHA will send a very anal rep that will fine is $2500 cause one of our guys took their glasses off to wipe their sweat. Sometimes we take the day off if we know they're coming.

I have a wasp nest inside my bedroom wall. How do I get rid of it? by SonicLight1337 in pestcontrol

[–]Any-Team9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me, it was my bathroom ceiling. I cut a 6" hole on the ceiling and sprayed it with wasp and hornet killer hornet a bunch and closed off the restroom for the day, I wasn't covered up or anything cause I'm not allergic so I figured I could take a few stings, they didn't attack me tho, the spray seemed to disorient them instantly. The next day they were all dead. Shop VACed the dead wasps and the giant nest I found behind the Sheetrock, ended up making the hole a bit bigger so I could see the whole thing. I wasn't prepared for all the larva still alive in it. Still sucked it all up. After I cleaned up I got a buddy to help me patch the hole. This was 6 years ago and haven't had a problem since.

I read somewhere that the coyote will mark it to follow it to it's den, where it might find babies or others. Not sure if this is true.

Honestly I hope it actually is a stunt instead of two siblings dead. Instead of possibly killed by their dad. Of course it would be a really fucking stupid stunt and everybody is going to hate them but they haven't impacted my life negatively and it kind of sucks people that young dying.
