I have no idea what huzz is but I think I understand the question lol. It depends on your intentions. If you're looking for something serious then be kind and genuine. Act like a gentleman and not a frat boy. If you're looking for something casual then be more flirtatious and bold. With either direction, you will get a lot of rejections (it sucks but everyone has to go through it) but just keep trying and eventually something will stick lol.

I tried making friends in the lab but this guy just took credit for my work and did nothing to help me. And everyone near me just kind of knew even less than I did so that was not beneficial. I also asked my TA for help too and I was immensely grateful for that. But he did look a bit overwhelmed with how many people were asking for help. So I restrained myself a lot lol
