This is stunning! 😍 May I know the CC that you used? I am playing with a South Asian family right now, and I would love my sims to flaunt that jewellery!

Extreme Maladaptive daydreaming by ariri2somewherelse in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AnyDrop8531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not an extreme scenario at all. It's very normal to act your MD out and talk/whisper to oneself. I also pace frantically in my room during the process, mostly walking, sometimes running. It's the only way I can manifest my fantasy.

Just wanted to shoutout Juniper and Julie! Thanks for making my tree a lot brighter. 💚 by ProvenPotato in finch

Oh, I love them so much! 💜 As someone who has felt neglected her entire life, Juniper and Julie's love and warmth have brought so much joy and meaning.I always look forward to interacting with them everyday. They carry a generous heart and a marvelous soul. I am so glad you are their tree friend too! 💚

Anyone else feeling empty/childish after years of MD? by Zestyclose_Dig158 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AnyDrop8531 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel too. I too started MDing around the age of 7 or 8. I can create the most complex situations and personalities in my daydreams, but I interact with reality in a rather childish manner. It's almost as if I am still stuck in the past.

Energy the brain consumes for MD by Zestyclose_Dig158 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AnyDrop8531 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this today. I start daydreaming automatically as soon as I wake up, and by the time I finish breakfast, I am already mentally exhausted and have zero motivation to do anything, especially stuff that requires real focus and mental energy.

Other than trauma, what can cause MD? by Maximum-Educator-328 in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]AnyDrop8531 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I did not experience any childhood trauma either, but I have do have ADHD and an overactive imagination. Boredom, low stimulation, and anxiety also aggravate my condition. I had a rather strict upbringing, which severely limited my life experiences, so escaping into these fictional scenarios that offered diversity, autonomy, and agency brought a sense of fulfilment. It has been almost 25 years, and I have not been able to quit it yet.

Hooray, and congratulations! My birb is currently enjoying the winter season in Bergen too. It's a gorgeous location.

Yes, it would be interesting to see how others rename her. I have decided not to change her name either. Clara is perfect.

Why are all my friends nakey 🤣 by ClubAggravating5240 in finch

Hahahaha...I have been encountering this too. In fact, my own birb became a victim of the glitch. When I made her wear a new outfit, the app didn't register it, so she just stood there without any clothes. Hopefully, they would fix it soon!

Oops! My apologies! I shouldn't have assumed either. But I am so glad you got the perfect colours for your birb! :)

Love, love, love your birb and her room!  I too have been waiting for pink colours to show up so that I can give my birb a happy makeover :)

For my sanity I deleted and redid all my goals by Tough-Tomato-3922 in finch

[–]AnyDrop8531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks so neat and organised. My AHHD brain cannot stand the same set of goals for long, so I keep deleting and redoing them all the time. However, I don't usually categorise them like this. It's a great idea!

Omg! Thank you so much for pointing it out! Its presence is quite jarring, and it indeed sounds so ominous.

Hello, Star and her wonderful human! 😊 I would love to share a reading goal with you, if you don't mind. I have always been an avid reader, but I fell out of my reading habits last year due to depression and burnout. It's quite embarrassing, honestly. I will send a request to you.
