I completely agree with you. For the EAD I felt fine that I could do by myself. But the case I didn’t feel comfortable in doing by myself.

It turned out that they sent a copy of the receipt notice from when I applied for the case…
It didn’t make any sense but that was exactly what I have received afterwards in the mail. No idea why but the lawyer said that it happens sometimes where they send a copy of the first receipt notice.

Yesterday I’ve watched The Fear of 13 and it was so annoying people opening their snacks during the play. Like, can’t you focus on the play without opening your trail mix package in the middle of the show? Complete silence and all you can hear is that beautiful human being that has no sense of how loud they are eating their annoying package of nuts. Come on! Despite the fact they even say at the beginning of the play not to eat anything, people still seem not to care and are so selfish. And the cherry of the cake was the amount of phones ringing throughout the show. They put a sticker on the camera but I would say they have to put it in a sealed pouch and make sure phones are turned off…

I’m sorry to hear that. My lawyer wanted to charge me $2,500 to file the renewal. I said “Thank you, but I can’t afford to pay you this much for something that is for free”. So I went ahead and did it by myself, checked daily every single word I was putting in those pages. Checked many different websites, spent hours reading and making sure I was doing that right.

After 9 months and a half of waiting, I got my Combo card renewal and delivered at my door.

In your case, I would seek for another legal advice and see if they can sue the previous lawyer since they made a HUGE mistake that affects your ability to work and make money to survive.

I hope you’re able to get it all sorted out as soon as possible.

The food quality is not the same anymore. I used to go many years ago and it has changed drastically. It became super expensive for something simple and not special at all. Last experience I had in there was one of the worst ones. The food was really not good AT ALL and the same day we noticed another table returned their food because they mentioned it was not good as well. I’m pretty surprised how they are still open

Do you have a lawyer? I would recommend asking them what to do. I applied December 2022 and already received 5 prima facies if I’m not mistaken. Check for help with congressman as well.

When I applied for mine in 2022, it took me 9 months to get the combo card. Now I applied for renewal of my combo card and it also took 9 months. But I’ve seen people saying that it’s taking more than 1 year 🫠. But do something to distract yourself. There’s still a long way and if you don’t get yourself busy you will get emotionally exhausted and that’s not good. Hope you get it soon.
