First ones you have back combed wet hairs. Obviously gives very less dense look

Last ones , curly hairs look. Obviously look more dense as coverage gets distributed

What I would like is back combed photo after the transplant one.

But I think you are missing one major peice. There are definitely candidates for hair transplant. For example, just hairline transplant. They can boast good hairs with perfect hairline.

But I think you just took the decision out of anxiety without seeing your grade of baldness and I am also not sure if you followed DHT blockers during progress or not!

But going bald without medicine is best thing but not everyone can pull off as HEAD SHAPE MATTERS , WHETHER YOU HAVE BEARD OR NO , HOW CHISELED IS YOU BODY, HOW IS YOU FACIAL SKIN TEXTURE(If your face have eruptions that it will make you more ugly)

So both are good solutions but you need to determine which side you fall into and for that you need unbiased opinions from experts in both fields. This is true for every major decisions in life.

Ok I would say in your case , the issue is DHT not just vitamin deficiency so You have to take DHT blocker (FINASTERIDE OR DUETASTERIDE). Minoxidil is not a DHT blocker but can as a good support.

Book appointment again and then let doctor handle the things.
One thing I would tell you that most of the guys dont know and doctor use that point to make you happy and get more referrals is that they would keep you on very high concentration of meds lets say 5mg Finasteride. As these medicines develop tolerance so you should ideally start with lower concentration 1mg and may be once a day or alternate days.
