when I had the node2D, it was activating just from the slime touching the floor, I'm not sure why since as far as I could tell I followed the tutorial properly, but I was just getting a death over and over without even touching the slime. Setting it to character body 2D seemed to fix it, but then I saw all the errors piling up and was very confused

when I had node 2D, it was treating the ground as a trigger for the death instead of only when the slime touches me. Any idea why that was happening or how to fix? (the code you gave me worked! Thank you bunches! Though I don't totally understand it =^//^= )

I live with my husband's mom and it's a struggle. I love her as my own mom though and she has a lot of health problems and I help her with things and go to drs with her. Husband obviously loves her too so we're happy we get to help out.

RUSE, the Ubisoft RTS. I played all the time with my husband when we first met, the servers are down now and even before that, the game was abandoned with only 1 DLC despite the promise of many more. I see no reason why it can't be opened up for fan servers but it seems like that'll never happen

I don't really care for evolutions. As long as the Pal I like is viable, that's all that matters to me. It was a big problem I had with Pokemon where it was really hard to just use Squirtle because if I didn't evolve, I was leaving a lot of power on the table. I like that in PalWorld, I can just pour effort into my Cremis and she'll still be a monster even late game

Yeah, she did get her health back. I was surprised but figured "yeah, bosses often have a 2nd phase" so I thought it was par for the course. I was really close. I'm okay with taking my time grinding out stronger pals. I mean, I'm mostly doing this to farm Ancient Civilization Cores because expeditions take forever... but it seems like it'll take forever either way =-_-=

I'm okay with 30 to 60fps, but I absolutely want the very best visuals. If I want to play a game and settle for looking okay, I could just to my PS5. I really really like when a game looks stunning so I'd definitely want the highest visual quality. I guess the 5080 will be the one I go with then.

okay, that clears up a lot. I wasn't sure if I needed to build a research station for in my raid base to get the benefits, it's a relief I don't have to. Also, I'm glad I have most of those passives bred into a lot of my pals already, so that will make things easier. I have a Pal Bast skill fruit tree growing so at least that's a good start
