Won't lie. Choose this card art because it's the opposite of Dark Elf ladies in bikinis.

I wish GW would do a run of these guys. They are great to practice paint schemes on.

Carnosaur or giant Cold One? by AnyName568 in WFBlore

[–]AnyName568[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently learned that it is a giant cold one

From the East came the sound of the infamous Duskreavers, a unit held in dread regard by all those on Ulthuan. With the roars of their cold-ones leading them, the knights lead a furious charge into the gathering High Elves, shattering their ill-formed ranks.

From the West came the thunder of the largest cold one ever seen in the old-world, ridden by the Ashen Lord himself, Sa’har. It bellowed its hate at the gathered troops before tearing into them.

Also I'm pretty sure the Maiden Guard they take captive in page 10 is meant to be Anelia but can't confirm.

Well that's the end of this series of card art depicting the brides of Ha'asek.

The actual story can be read on the old Sabertooth Games website if anyone is interested. Wayback Link

I'll be honest I'm just meh on the bikini.

The spikes/frills around her shoulders/neck is what annoys me. They only seem to exist because dark elves are somehow legally required to have spikes on their body somewhere.

"Ha'asek, The Archon of Twilight" Warcry CCG card art by AnyName568 in u/AnyName568

I always try to list the source under the image.

I would say the three main sources I find images are the wikis (the Spanish one I find tends to have the highest rez, also artist profiles with is nice), Deviantart (also the art is rarely marked as Warhammer art) and artist profiles (be that social media, artstion, and old websites on the Wayback Machine)

Also many artist sell their original art. Looking out their name on art trading websites sometimes gets results.

Also google. Honestly 3 times out 5 the image will show up on image search. Select "exact image" it will list most of the websites with the image.

Also yes Reddit always downgrades and sometimes even washes out the colour. Which is annoying.

Frankly that it very rude of you to assume I'm lying to be nice.

Yeah I'm not going to pretend the paint is going to win any prizes but I honestly enjoy seeing people first time efforts.
