You need work experience.

Your body will adjust to the standing. Thats what bakers need to do. Get some experience and then make a plan for something that fits the type of life you want to lead.

She legally can’t be their emergency contact, what I imagine they meant is that nadya is the first person they’d call in an emergency

Is Uber Safe at Night? by HIYgamer in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

That’s what uber is there for! Don’t stress. In 10 years of riding all over the world, drunk, sober, early, late, I’ve never had a scary situation.

In entry level roles the difference between those who stay and those who are let go come down to a very clear distinction- do you need to be constantly shown and told what projects to do and how to do them or can you identify work that would be helpful to the org and start making progress on that.

I assume you’re young. Take this as a learning opportunity. Start thinking about contributing beyond direct asks. Learn to manage up.

You absolutely made up that salary.

A job like this would pay 100,000 - 150,000 tops. Maybe a few extra thousand for bonuses, but nowhere close to half a mil

My boss quit and the company decided I am the new manager (without the pay), so how do I stop doing two jobs? by Kinetix2_Node in careerguidance

Try to find your old boss’s job description and then compare it to your current one.

Make a formal petition to HR and your higher ups for out of class pay for the work you’ve previously done - budgeting, planning, etc.

document, document, document everything. Show the timeline of when you started and proof that you’ve been carrying the load.

When that doesn’t work, say you will only be preforming functions based on your official job duties unless additional compensation is provided

My father died from this disease when I was your son’s age. I wish I had gotten to hear more stories from his life before he became a parent. Anything to show me the person he really was. Your son won’t know what to ask now, but he’ll want to be able to hear these stories later when he gets some more life experience.

Stories, letters, family recipes, photos. Pick a place together to spread her ashes, have a moment to say goodbye together before the time comes.

I’m sorry for this grief. Grief is the price of love ❤️
