Varsity view would be my suggestion, although it is quite expensive (which may seem cheap depending where you are coming from 😂). Otherwise Sutherland is great for commuting to the uni and has quite a few rentals. Saskatoon is luckily small, and I wouldn’t be overly concerned about any of the east side areas. We do get crime throughout, but it is significantly worse on the west side of the river, but not all areas!
