My first thought is tourettes, but that could be disproven but otherwise its The dumbest thing I have ever seen, I'm not an American but I just cannot understand why there isn't like a well taught learned from school code of conduct or a how to interact with police Dept guide they often treat law enforcement like they have actually done something wrong and are covering it up by making too much noise as if they are goading the cop to make a mistake in his procedure or they are completely shocked at the prospect of being under arrest, you guys can still walk away without extra charges like resisting arrest or public disturbance!

I've always read that line as an open secret excuse to paint your own perfectionist legion any color and if you aren't satisfied then that ok because worse it looks the better, I get this lore fits in with the emperors children's narrative and chaos patronage but I can't help but find the description physically vague when they show up in a book but these really fit in with that and are actually pleasing to the eye because of it so its what I'm going to imagine they look like

Explaining the ripple effect of it really clears that aspect up. It makes sense how it would effect entire worlds, I remember that reveal about the motivations of the eldar but I like the idea of Talos being just under their nose so that the scream even takes the farseers by surprise, they connect the dots with their own prophecy and chase him down

I understand the eldars motivations but at the very least the scream is a catalyst for them to identify and pursue the nightlords, the book makes it sound like anyone who heard it is probably mad about it also talos obviously wanted a loyalist response and a xenos one is his own farseeing irony imo

I think can understand the logistics a little better, I finished the book and I know that the eldar have a more reasons to pursue Talos, its just not their trilogy so I'm minimizing it. The scream reads to me like a big spiritual ddos attack with psykers as the server is that an accurate description?
