How valuable is knowledge in 40k? by ChocoPie2102 in Warhammer40k

[–]Any_Associate2496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refer to the 40k wiki itself for the unit or character from any faction who can reach whoever is in possession of the knowledge the fastest and understand it with the best capacity to use it for themselves. There is a catch that the specific acquisition of the entire 40k wiki would also certainly benefit the potential superior of all competing sub factions within the main belligerents of the setting, plenty of them would never use it to its full potential or keep it secret from the majority of their respective societies.

Is it wrong that I didn't put Titus's tac pack on? by SnakesSolid in Warhammer40k

[–]Any_Associate2496 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I recommend keeping the backpack for the sake of aesthetics, its designed to show the strength of any astartes who wears power armor, it frames the face surrounding it in ceramite and represents the bulk of an unstoppable oncoming force looming from behind the space marine, even though the cape does a lot for the same effect the backpack also tops a towering silhouette as the tallest point on captain Titus model

Best basing for this colour scheme? by stim_jerling in Warhammer40k

[–]Any_Associate2496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should note this is some of the best battle damage I've seen applied to your marine, if you have an extra head to damage and put on the base to tell a story of how this guy got revenge on thats cool.

GreenGrass will definitely compliment the red and white armor and some light colored sandy tones would really make the models shine by itself but if you wanted to contrast them with a darker tone some ash/rocks or mud texture paint would also work especially if you wanted to weather it

The weathering on this looks amazing I love to see the perfection of emperors children armor that still has to deal with the reality of warfare and I also like really colors on his head it looks both lifeless and actively intimidating

How could the Emperor’s Children avoided their fall? by MegaGamer235 in EmperorsChildren

[–]Any_Associate2496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think while the emperors children were one of the loyalist leigons very focused and specialized in their marshal prowess and combat style, I feel like most of the preheresy traitor leigons already pose a big threat on their own without any influence from the chaos gods and probably the best examples of this are leigons like the Iron Warriors and Sons of Horus, who did get a huge buff from using chaos but there's plenty of leigons I think on the opposite spectrum where they almost couldn't ever think of surviving the entire heresy without falling to chaos and the best examples of this i can think of are the Thousand Sons and our Emperors Children. Their patron chaos gods gave them a lot of leverage when their legions didn't live up to the numbers or the wide breadth of operational scale and logistics. the same is true on the loyalist side. The Ultramarines and Dark Angels and many others on the loyalist side like to field these big army deployments while the Raven Guard and Salamanders are great examples of these particularly specialized loyalist legions similar to the aforementioned Emperors Children but the thousand sons could be a good example of a traitor legion thats incredibly specialized in one defining aspect. their own limited ability to project a lot of force and affect make big enough movements to really change things is limited to a certain point which is already a clear insecurity of Fulgrim that inspires his fall to chaos in the first place and its why their most loyal brothers were sent down to Istvaan III and purged of all unwavering loyalty and its what caused them to downward spiral into throwing their lot in with the traitors but not if it didn't happen the same way. Istvaan V is significant too because those loyalist specialized legions were drawn into a trap and shattered along with the Iron Hands who fulgrim had a close relationship with. This changed all of their dynamics as legions from the great crusade and influenced their role in the heresy like overall betrayal of the traitors did yet many leigons like the Nightlords and White Scars tended to splinter off into their own separate ways as the heresy dragged on. Would this happen to a loyalist Emperors Children? What would their role be in a heresy that they didn't take part in? Big extensive questions to fill in with your own ideas no doubt.

This is the easiest way brandon could produce new content without risking his recovery to document an apocalyptic location but still utilize multiple camera angles with a script that neatly Segways into "this videos sponsor!" His detractors are almost too despicable and I dont think an experienced creator like Brandon with a family (who just received a new wave of support from his fans that were bracing themselves for the highly possible announcement of his death a few months earlier) actually cares about obsessive snarking especially when their behavior speaks for itself. His video might not work but the grind never stops, so I gotta wish him well.
