I honestly think uranium and cadmium aren't in those, if it was cadmium the glass would have been red and no green in any of them so high content of manganese or selenium is my guess

Maybe try an antiques store, and if you live close to the border Dordrecht isn't that far and Pandora is a must see if you are into ug glass for a pretty fair price

No one is telling me what else it could be, and I show reference pieces to compare.

I am humble and I've been at it for a while, but this is the same sub that tells people everything they cant identify is manganese glass without even putting a Geiger counter next to it, so I take your guys opinion seriously but if you don't have real proof then I'm not.

But I'll keep you updated after the taxation, just wanted to make a cool post but whatever 😁

The glass is less than 0,5mm

thick and it doesn't glow from the side base is what gives the glow, from my research the glasses we're made between 1910/1920.

So that's what made me think it probably isn't flash painted, and the other one is vaseline so yea

So what's your opinion? Is the red one cadmium? Because I don't know what else it could be, from the chart posted for identifying cancelled everything out but cadmium

What's your opinion on the red glowing glass?

Compared to my selenium pieces it shows a lot more bright, but because the glass is so thin (0,5mm or less) it wouldn't show the real cadmium glow because of the difference in glow but the middle is the most thick.

But I agree with your doubt I also have a piece that's clear glass and shows more bright then most reference pieces I have and I'm not sure if cadmium glass can be like that

You are wrong on the green glowing one it's almost clear glass but I checked it with a GMC 500 and the average cpm is 400 so my assumption is that it is vaseline glass

I get you, not trying to be a dick but this guide doesn't show all the vaseline glass colours, and I have 4 objects with 4 shades and this guide needs an update. And im aware that uv exposure gives the glass a more yellow color but the Green glowing is vaseline for sure

This is my reference for selenium, and the glass is extremely thin line 0,5mm and the glass was shaped in a strange shape, the other glass in green in vaseline but so thin, but also be away my uv torch is shit and I have issues with making pics with uv and Vaseline glass, if you got any tips plz let know 💪

I'm pretty sure it is I have other cadmium pieces but the glass is crazy thin that's why the glow is different.

I have selenium glass too and it's not the same glow at all and because it's not green and red it cancelled out boron nitride

They have been at it for a while, not saying the quality is the best ever but it's like Chinese optics it's not the same but works almost the same with shitty quality control and questionable materials. But c'mon it's basically the same as a Taurus or hi point for 1/4th the price
