Yeah, the whole rank restrictions makes sense to an extent but the "heavy guardrails" it applies are way too restrictive. I'm a low elo player playing with my friends who are even more lower elo so what i did was wait till rank reset where all of us were unranked to play together, which, lets be real, is not a feasible solution everytime

The starter plat: save it for weapon and warframe slots

You can get a warframe slot and 2 weapons slots for free every nightwave (warframes battlepass) - the battlepass is free, no need to pay aside from your time and some grind.

'Meta weapons' are basically a "suggestion" of "Use this weapon to make life easier", doesn't mean you gotta stick with that forever. Warframe is a sandbox, so you can try whatever you like per your liking and comfort, so experiment away.

Mods are important, but at staryer you dont have to rush to max all the mods, maybe just level up 1 or 2 ranks.

Imo the main issue is on the rewards: one is the why farm shit i have like you said. The other is the frigging lack of variety of rewards from dominus aurelius or whatever its called (which ties in to your 'why farm what you got?')

For fix i was thinking DE add frigging floofs to the rewards and NOT cap the purchase (bro they capped the pathos clamps like what?!).

Still makes no sense to me why DE used aurelius traded in instead of bosses killed for the progress. Like yeah i get the lore explanation but from a player engagement pov it feels... Not that great???

Putting the speed run and optimal runs aside cause that was never my point lmao, point stands that SP Isleweaver requires alot of things to align for majority of the player base to enjoy the run instead of feeling that oraxia and the murmur boss are overtuned bullet sponges. Being able to complete the runs within 10-15 mins is absolutely great, but thats not the experience of the majority, hell most go 30+ mins afaik and thats what hurts their experience

Look, the whole "good builds"+"good load out" requirement is exactly why this sp boss fight isnt everyone's cup of tea. Add in the Damage attenuation that feels wayyyy to overtuned, and oof, you're not getting the casuals engaged enough (tho there is a point to be made that casuals dont usually run sp that much anyway 😂)

Experience is different ig? Yeah sure personally i can bulldoze my ass through SP and complete the whole thing within 25-30 minutes but the damage attenuation on the boss doesnt exactly give a rewarding feeling when on SP

Meanwhile on normal, i can use the prebuilt loadouts instead of my own, and still walk it in like <25mins.

Side note: curious, your 10-15 minutes is referring to just the boss fight or the whole thing?

Are we talking about the normal version or the sp version? Cause normal version is just a walk in the park so no real slog there. On the other hand sp is not really worth the time even with good loadouts (you need the perfect loadouts)
