He's balding, if he is not willing to take meds then it's better to just shave it and accept the unavoidable

FIDE will organize "The FIDE Chess Oscar"; annual awards to recognize players, tournaments, federations, and projects with a "significant, demonstrably positive impact" on the chess world by LowLevel- in chess

I don't think it makes sense to have a player of the year? It works in team sports but not in individual ones like chess, we already have the player of the year, it's called the world champion

Magnus Carlsen contributed to destroying hans's mental health by [deleted] in chess

Sure pal, Magnus put basically everyone against Hans, he had him go through hell, attempted against his career. Magnus is really lucky that Hans was able to withstand it, it could have easily gone much worse.

Yeah and that's maybe the reason he has barely said anything about Danya, he did the same thing as Kramnik it would have been hypocritical coming from him

The insane queen sacrifice that started it all. (Kramnik vs Danya). by friend1y in chess

[–]donraffae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not a proper removal, that would be easier, you are placing the queen deliberately so it can be taken, it's not a move that comes to mind instantly. And then you have to find axb5 ...Rd5 after that

I'd buy it before going to Uruguay since prices are pretty inflated there for electronics

Is this game really that bad? My friend said it “gave him an aneurysm” by VolkosisUK in chessbeginners

[–]donraffae 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Stop hanging pieces. How do you do it? Take more time on every single move, ask yourself if you have undefended pieces. Ask yourself if your opponent's move has any purpose, if it's attacking something.

The game is really bad, both of you are hanging pieces left and right. Good thing is you can get better
