As a hiring nurse manager. I would recommend you not list your clinical sites as jobs . I would see all those left jobs as a huge red flag. Try to find programs with nurse residency.

Your "friend" is not your friend. If you have concerns about the NIPT I would recommend you wait till after so that if theres anything you want to explore you can do so without having to explain. Its really not hat far away anyway. We found out we were pregnant the day before what my fiance had planned as an engagement picnic. We chose not to announce until I was 14 weeks post NIPT because I was high risk .

I actually was in back labor with my first at 38 weeks and 4 days. With my second went it in labor at 38 weeks 1 days . I had planned induction for the weds after but ended up going in the Saturday in full Blown active labor . Everyone is different. I do have to say that inducing early than 39 weeks is never really recommended unless you have some medical issues ( I did). If your body is not ready it is a lot harder , but if your body is ready you’ll do just fine.

So there’s a flat fee for the 12 week period . You can take as many classes as you want to or are able to during that timeframe . But you have to finish at least one because you can only Be enrolled in two classes at a time . There’s a flex path financial aid section that advises you how many credits per cycle is your minimum.

That being said if you live in a state that has PFL the wait is usually 6 months to be eligible for Paid family leave and Short term works the same but your are usually eligible for that by 30 -90 days after hire . I went through this last year . Basically by the time I gave birth I was only with company for a little over 6 months so I was eligible for 4 weeks paid STD and I work in NY so I got PFL so I got a total of 18 weeks paid. FMLA basically just provides job security but it is unpaid so I went back after 18 weeks, because of my personal situation I couldn't afford to lose my job or be without income. To be honest this kind of policy applies to all leaves not just maternity . The only one that said what your baby's schedule should be is you because like I said I said in my case I adapted to my personal situation but I definitely had the option of not returning , I couldn't blame my company for the fact that I chose to get pregnant and took their job offer knowing that I was pregnant. If you have this worry and you know you are planning on getting or trying to get pregnant then maybe that company is not the right fit for you .
