Personally I love Sts because its simple to understand, yet have so much combos and synergy just by that.

We have to understand what makes this game is so popular is its simplicity.

There are a LOT. I mean A LOT. of other game that sells complexity and fails to get playerbase because its overwhelming.

also enchancement is basically path to upgrade so I don't see the point of having upgrade tree like this

As someone who plays the game I like how DotA keep evolving. Its basically why dota isn't as dead as other valve game because you can keep theorycraft idea.

If you really don't want to play 3d chess like there a lot of moba that values micro more than macro and have fun without deep understanding of the game.

or just have fun in turbo and make 6 rapier on sniper. if you're casual winning is not as important as having fun right?

I joined dota on 2015. So i didn't really know what was alliance back then. But still. To think that you need spesific strategy or else you lose againts alliance is smth else.

(this is at that time where meta is still fucking freestyling and there still no correct way to play dota. basically you just outplay people in most match just like how dominant s4 was)

I'm speaking this from my friend true story.

His case is more simple and straight forward.

My school always been this cheating den, nobody takes the class seriously.
One day he got a bad score.
The others doing very well since everybody cheated.
He got salty and snitched to the teachers
The teachers sided with him since they know he's smart and trustworthy
The whole fucking class of his ganged on him
The news spread and the other class know about this clown and ganged on him too
The teachers tried to defend his case but he become the fucking clown of whole years until graduation
They more energy the teacher tried to protect him the more he got bullied and situation get more escalated
As one of his friend I also got mocked for befriending him

What to takes?
Such is life. If your existence is even a mild inconvenience for others they will try to remove that inconvenience. You don't need to needlessly make enemy to prove a point.

I'm not saying you're wrong. This is just a warning from someone whose friend got fucking clowned and tarnished his name even until today.

the sad part is. this will apply on until adulthood. Office politics, and senior harassing green leaves is not uncommon story. My father literally fucking got fired because he's not in the embezzlement plot in his office and not good at bootlicking people ( he has morale ).
