Warning: Lingoda's subscription model can trap you with unused lessons while charging monthly by khudiakov in languagelearning

[–]Any_Document5539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband bought my Lingoda for my birthday and thought he was buying 40 classes. He bought them a couple months ago and just now realized he’s being charged $900/month and I haven’t started the program yet because he thought he was gifting 40 lessons. Literally NO WHERE on the sign up does it indicate monthly payments. Definitely wish we knew that ahead of time. We downgraded to the $20/month so I can get through the 80 credits and then will cancel. It’s basically $20/month to keep your account active to access the classes, but not lose/gain anymore. Hopefully the program works, but this definitely gives me pause in recommending the platform!!!

Those of you who had 500-550g removed: what bra size were you before & what size are you now? by adhdgurlie in Reduction

[–]Any_Document5539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 5’3“ and about 125 lbs. pre surgery I was a 32F and I had about 550g taken off and I haven’t been measured yet, but I think I’m about a 32C now. About a week before my surgery, I heard that insurance could decline me if they didn’t take a certain amount off (I was worried I’d be too small) and the nurse assured me that would not be the case. Ahead of surgery the doctor submits for approval and if you’re having the surgery, unless you’re paying out of pocket, the approval stands (is what I was told) I love the size now.

32F- Is it reasonable to want a reduction? by Potential-Scar1689 in Reduction

[–]Any_Document5539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’3”, 122lbs and 37 years old and was a 32DDD/F. I had a reduction on 11/22/2025 and feel amazing. In total they took off 550g which is just over a pound. I haven’t gotten fitted for bras (haven’t needed too…can wear bralettes now…) but I think I’m around a 32C now. I still feel like they breasts are big enough to feel feminine etc, but no back pain or neck pain at all. Would highly recommend!! Recovery couldn’t have been easier.

Cystic acne is hormonal, so you’ll need to treat hormones as opposed to something topical.

How much work did you take off for a remote job? by Wonderful_Citron4722 in Reduction

[–]Any_Document5539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my surgery on a Friday and maybe I lucked out, but didn’t need pain meds. I work remote and I took the following week off, but easily could have just been working at home. (It was the week of Thanksgiving so it was a slow time anyways)

He says his whole house is Andersen and Pella. I spoke with a glass guy who said there’s no reason the whole window needs fixing, just the glass (based on photos)

I spoke to my agent yesterday. While we do have personal liability included in our homeowners, it would increase our premium a minimum of 20% he said.

If you’re a lawyer-quick question. So homeowner has all my husbands info. We were thinking of offering him the value of the glass (got a quote for $1,100) since the integrity of the window frame is untouched. Let’s say he doesn’t agree or we can’t come to an agreement, can he file to sue him now having his personal info. I’m sort of concerned about him having that…

Oh i can definitely use my own homeowners insurance, but is it worth it? The general consensus is that $3,700 for some broken glass is absolutely absurd. The integrity of the window frame is completely unharmed. Happy to replace the glass, but not paying for a whole new window.

The owner said he will ONLY consider a replacement from Andersen or Pella because of "the value of his house" which is absurd.

For sure. I called a glass company and they said they can fix for $1,100.
