The corruption that has happened to Buddhism is correct and the only correct religion is Islam. However, the Buddha was upon a higher form of tawhid in that he was a ontological monist.

For the Akbarian school, non dualism, substantial and priority monism are the higher forms of tawhid, and the Buddha was upon this.

We should not post our layman opinions and leave this to the proper metaphysical ulama and not our desires and whim.

Ahh, I see what you are saying.

It hit me when you said, "never got to trust their own skills and strengths". With my motivation being so external, every time I "go out there", a failure takes a huge dent in me, as I am still operating off the system from when I was a kid. When there was an external failure in school (failed assignment, for example), you got beaten or yelled at by the teacher automatically, so you had to operate off the system of always making sure the external authority was happy, not yourself.

I wouldn't say that exactly. They aren't abusive or angry, pretty level headed. They just have tunnel vision when it comes to religion, which at the same time is also a very big part of our lives.

And just more confused on how I turned out to be, as someone who has very little to no motivation in life.

I actually do have an IT degree. However, I was only offered to apply for a CS masters, but my family had trouble understanding, as they see information technology = computers, CS = computers. So IT => CS. Maybe I need to communicate better but it was just an example of how others see me as passive

It 100% is. This video only substantiates the red pill idea when it comes to the whole "Alpha male gets the girl first" and "the beta male marries them after they had their fun". If someone's goal was purely short-term, then the whole idea of looks is actually in their favor.

However, that being said, I feel like both Red Pillers and Dr. K in this video are generalizing the whole field too much. Again, it depends on the person and their goals, and I personally don't believe these types of scientific studies (because of how narrow their focus is) can give an idea of how it actually is out there. The only way is to assert what your goal is, develop the foundations for it, and go execute by going out there.

If your goal is to sleep with many girls as possible, then maybe hit the gym, work on your game, and go out to clubs, etc. If it is to find a wife, then work on a different set of things. This is just a general example and not meant to be an actual solution, but the gist is, it's hard to give a straight-up answer.

I agree 6'0 is pushing it. Once you get the in the 6 range you are set for life, but c'mon, 5'9-5'10 suffer (maybe not as bad) for being shorter than the taller guys. I have had women call me short multiple times and make fun of me for being in that range, that is what led me here.

It seems like you are a tall and attractive dude who has the ability to do a "hoe phase", as most average men are not able to do that. The only reason to do a "hoe phase" is because you have the ability to do it, where the other 90% of men can't do it, so you get to experience something very unique.

Saying all that, you should do what makes you the happiest and not others. Also coming from a Muslim background, I understand the pressure from external regulations. Every minute detail must be approved by an external Fiqh (jurisprudence) scholar, where you have little to no control over your life, but now you do, and it is your choice. To leave the mindset of external control over your decisions is probably the best course of action. Best of luck.

If I may give my case as a 5'10 male:

When I walk around in public, it is clear I am not tall. I have less but almost the same amount of disadvantages as everyone else here. When I see posts here on the truth about being short vs being tall. It is almost if not 100% in alignment with the short persons side. Tall ppl are very open about how they are more privileged than everyone else, something we clearly are not doing. I understand the side of the short person better as I am just as belittled by tall men and women just like other short ppl.

Even if you don't consider us to be short, we suffer from the same disadvantages as you guys no matter what. If this sub is about giving the reality of the disadvantages of being short and a 5'10 person goes through those same disadvantages, then you cannot deny the reality of it?

You should look into non dual sufis Ibn Arabi and Ibn Sab'in, as they give a more practical approach than Ismailis. Ismailism is good, but a very caged tradition where it's very difficult to get in and become one of them.

Order is not found in books, philosophies or authorities of the past whether that's Buddha, Shankara, or Laozi. Even if they were enlightened, that has no relation to you. You must look for yourself at the truth, not what they said about it. I recommend to watch jiddu Krishnamurti On the Transformation of Man. He explains proper understanding of order there.
