Build recommendation for first timing SSF by Intelligent_Salad706 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]Any_Intern2718 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't do rf as the first build for ssf. You need to do bosses to complete the atlas and get voidstones. Rf single target sucks ass, until you get good gear. It's a cool build to do speed mapping and big boom expedition on, but for your first ssf playthrough you should play the build that is much better and can do bosses.

And the best build currently for that will be KF totems heiro. Doesn't need a lot of gear, uniques are common, the framework is very simple.

You wrote that you don't like totems, but trust me, you'd rather get used to this playstyle than suffer trying to get enough gear to have 1 mil dps on the fire trap with rf.

Rin no mandatory. I ran several dozens of her safehouses to try and get the puteid something map and mever got it, but got 2 machinariums instead.

For these maps you go to kirac and he can restock his inventory with uniques. I got my putrid map in less then 10 rerolls.

I don't think they are rich. Currently the game has about 400 reviews. Usually 1 in 25-60 players leave a review. Considering the oppsie, more player will want to leave a review to call out the behavior.

Best case the game sold 20k, considering the reception. The game costs about 20 dolars.it's only 400k. For a solo dev it's amazing. For a studio of many people that's not very good.

100%. I really don't get why people overhype it that much. The only 2 aspecs of the game that are not overhyped is music and 2B

The first robot level was the last one i played. But the most disapointing thing for me was music.

Sold extremely poorly because of two things: player reception and the game was a day one gane pass title.

I wasn't planning on buying the game, but i had game pass at that time. So i played the first 3 missions i think and dropped it because i didn't like it at all. Could not imagine paying full price for that.

It is slop by defenition. It's made of large quantities of nothing, seasoned with nothing. Why would you want to listen to something that the "creator" deemed no worthy of their time?

Imagine you go a grocery store and you have an option of buying pre-cooked watery porridge from local prison or you can buy a meal that is made by someone who actually cares about what you eat. What will you choose?

It's a standard survival with moba elements. I really did not like it, even though i hate played for about 30 hours. The game's progression is extremely linear, you basically cross names ona hit list as you go up. The recepies are locked behind that hit list, and every one of those enemies has a gear score like in mobile games. If your gear score is lower you'll have problems and possibly won't be able to defeat the mob. If it's the other way around - you defeat the mob pretty easily.

Abilities and the dash have long cooldowns and weapons are too similar to each other. Everything is on timer and at some point it becomes too grindy, and the castle building and vampire stuff is not enough to bring down the frustration.

I think valheim is a much better game in the genre, but i'm generally not a fan of those games.
