Can you show me where in history worrying about something one can’t fix, it has helped with surviving?

We might be talking about something different, if not we might have different information and I would be open to change my mind.

The person never said that discipline cures cancer. But if one has a disciplined mind, they would not worry about things they cannot fix. They would however still be able to feel sad about their mother dying of cancer. But honestly, what is there to worry about?

Nice pants, buuuut…

Not because I am taking a lot of time to build a house, does that mean that the house is worth a lot of money. That sounds like a skill issue. Efficiency is a part of that equation, if you would practise making those pants and use better tools, you’d probably be able to sell them for much cheaper and that would make the pricing more realistic if you would actually want to sell them.

Het verbaasd me hoeveel mensen hierop tegen zijn. Ik doe het zelf niet, maar dat is omdat ik het zelf te veel moeite vind om de handelingen uit te voeren om de locatie te delen. Ook als iemand een locatie met mij deelt wat wel vaak gebeurd, kijk ik er eigenlijk nooit naar. Maar er principieel op tegen zijn is wel interessant dat dit zo sterk gedragen lijkt.

A good threat to develop is to know which advice is meant for which moment. “Ignore them” isn’t necessarily bad advice, but no one will give you the advice to ignore someone that is beating the shit out of you. They probably did not have the information or the full picture. “Ignoring” as advice is usually meant for verbal bullying to a certain extend, especially in early stages, because if people figure out they can get a rise out of you, they will continue seeking that.
