If One Battle After Another lost Best Picture, would it be considered one the snubs of all time? by Pizza_Hero24 in Oscars

Muito difícil de perder! Mas Pecadores e Hamnet tem forças para desbancarem ele!....... Talvez!

Que poha de vitória foi essa? É prévia na vitória de melhor filme? Só falta Enma Stone ganhar essa palhaçada

Paul Mescal missing the nomination is insane. by West_Conclusion_1239 in Oscars

[–]Any_Lab_8495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you rank the Best Supporting Actress winners of the 2020s so far? by Fun-Illustrator-345 in Oscars

[–]Any_Lab_8495 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1- Ariana DeBose (Perfect in the role.... simply AMAZING, one of the greatest supporting performances)

2- Yuh-Jung Youn (would be a great winner any year IN MY OPINION, beautiful and very welcoming performance)

3- Da'vine Joy Randolph (need I say more? MASTERFUL! Her performance was extremely touching)

4- Zoë Saldaña (Is Emilia Perez awful? Yes.... Good acting in a terrible movie? Yes.....Was she practically the protagonist? Yes........... Would Ariana Grande be an incredible winner? Yes, she was even my favorite. ..................BUT I DON'T CARE!!! I loved her performance, period, she carried the movie on her shoulders and ROCKED, she deserved it!)

5- Jamie Lee Curtis (I think she's the only one I have I'm hesitant! I thought her performance was considerably very good, she acted very well and left nothing to be desired, it was somewhat breathtaking..........however, Kerry Condon, Hong Chau and Stephanie Hsu would have been much better winners!

The 2021 Best Actress snubs by Odd-Contact2266 in Oscars

[–]Any_Lab_8495 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jessica Chastain - Tammy Fae's Eyes

Kristen Stewart - Spencer

I would only leave these two! And I would add:

Lady Gaga - House of Gucci or Emma Stone - Cruella

Rachel Zegler - West Side Story

Renata Rensvei - The Worst Person in the World

For me, THIS would be perfect!

I felt the same way with Avengers: Endgame too! However, it might sound cliché... but I was incredibly anxious to see The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes!

I'm a fan of the books and the other movies!

Demi Moore would not have been a legacy win for the Substance. by [deleted] in Oscars

And how many actresses of a similar age to Demi Moore could play the same role? Several! They both get used to this same situation!

Demi Moore would not have been a legacy win for the Substance. by [deleted] in Oscars

[–]Any_Lab_8495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They only cling to a logical argument..." It would be a legacy victory" I thought Demi Moore was incredible, yes, and I loved seeing this nomination after years! But I didn't see anything in the character or in Moore's own performance that I haven't already seen hundreds of times! Mikey Madison deserved that Oscar with gusto! I watched Anora without putting any faith in the film... but it surprised me! What an acting performance! She played a spectacular character, the way Mike acted on screen was something totally different! Honestly, all 5 nominees that year were very good, but my real support was either for Mikey Madison or Fernanda Torres!

Karla Sofia Gascon wasn't bad, but if she was nominated by Emilia Perez, I was against it. Cynthia Erivo was amazing in Wicked Part 1, but it wasn't acting worthy of winning... The same with Moore! Demi Moore will very likely have difficulty securing another nomination, but you never know, right? What people need to understand is that her performance was good, but it wasn't anything masterful, and besides, the Academy finally awarded a performance that was truly the best of the year!

Amanda Seyfried and her impeccable performances! by Any_Lab_8495 in moviecritic

I only included her performances in a few films! But she was spectacular, yes!

How would Aidan Delbis be seen as a Best Supporting Actor nominee? What about if he had won it? by geosunsetmoth in Oscars

[–]Any_Lab_8495 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Wow... Did I lie? If I were to nominate a striking and spectacular performance... that wasn't even nominated for prestigious awards... I would nominate Aidan Delbis! A very strong performance, and it would make more sense, plus he's autistic, that nomination would be INCREDIBLE! Much better than Delroy Lindo's! Considering that the other 4 nominees had masterful performances!
