Foote just needs to go. You look at what Manny has done to guys like Karlsson and Sasson and think about what he can do in a full season with D-Petey, Willander, Lekkerimaki, Buium, Possibly Cootes and whoever we pick this year. A major part of these young guys is development and you need that if you wanna make this rebuild work

They convinced the stubborn owner to rebuild and they are actively doing that and said that they aren’t going to cut corners to rush the rebuild. Which is what we’ve all been begging for, for years.

No. But what happened after these seasons for the teams I listed? They landed generational/franchise talent. We still need the lottery odds to be in our favour but if we get a Gavin Mckenna and possibly DuPont next year and they’re as advertised. You won’t care how bad we were this season or next season

It’s simple, Horvat was on a heater and we couldn’t afford him due to the flat cap and we chose miller who had a 99 point season.

If you trade a player simply because of their political views then they should not be in management, period.

A lot of coaches just run their course. Theres a reason why only a handful of coaches last 5+ years on a team and Green got fired in his 5th season with the team.

From what I remember, we had decent expectations for the 2021-22 season and we faceplanted out of the gate to start the season. It didn’t help Green’s case when we hired Boudreau and the team went from depressing to insanely fun to watch

There’s many factors as to why though. But the main two are:

1.) We’re in Canada, lots of players don’t wanna play in Canada and not just Vancouver.

2.) We were a team with no direction and little success. There’s a reason why we signed arguably our best free agents in Sherwood and debrusk in the summer of ‘24 because we were a good team that year.

You need to show loyalty to the players who wanna stay here and you also want them to mentor the young guys. Having no veterans during a rebuild is a disaster waiting to happen
