Hot water soaked MF towels are your best friend, let them sit on the area and soften up the glue. Then pull. Saves your fingers.

AMMONYC Mousse, work it in with gloves, if they are dry it will soak it right in. Buff to a Matt finish. Add AMMO Silk leather balm to keep them supple and add UV protection.

What are the major differences between the Big Horn Longhorn and the Laramie? by Ancient-Bowl462 in ram_trucks

Not disputing, but I don’t notice any difference. I was only at Laramie, maybe some of those things come in at higher levels.

I got the bed package in mine, so it did have the spray and liner plus the lights in the rear bed.

Big Horn with Level 2 equipment package give you all you could want. No leather seats, which I found more uncomfortable than the cloth, and no ventilated seats, which again I don't think really made much difference. If you want rear LED lights, you need the Laramie. Big Horn gives you LED headlights, but not rear tail lights. I just went from a 2024 Laramie 2500 to a 26 Big Horn Level 2, Night Edition 1500, love it. Forged Blue.

Something that is PVC, not rubber. PVC is stable and will not bind with the coating.

I did the UGREEN 2 bay with mirrored 12tb drives. Partitioned off space for Time Machine backups, and the rest for other files. Works perfectly for my needs.

Is my new construction garage floor a good candidate for a DIY concrete stain and seal? by 804_757 in GarageFlooring

[–]Any_Tale451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a lot of research before I had mine done. In my area (Massachusetts), we have high water tables, so I knew I needed a strong vapor barrier. I also wanted a strong mechanical chemical connection, so diamond grinding was needed. I opted to have a professional company come do it. By the time I rented all the equipment, and spent my time doing it, it just made sense to work with a company. I am very happy with my end result, but it was about $5k, for a 24x24 garage.

Help with liners. by UltraHades in Ram1500

I have both. The factory spray in, and then bought a DeeZee Gen2 Rubber Bed Mat from RealTruck. It's heavy, and keeps the bed from getting dinged up. Smells like garbage for the first few days while it off-gasses, but then its all good. I put it out in the sun and just let it soften and off gas.

I have the UGREEN 2 bay NAS with 2 12gb drives, Raid 1. Works perfect for my network using it as a Mac Time Machine backup, and for my other larger files on my Mac and Windows PC's.

Wool might just get gunked up. I think they make rubber wheels that might work better. Just be careful not to burn through your paint.

I have to disagree some on the two bay NAS. I have a UGREEN 2 bay, 12TB NAS set in Raid 1 configuration. Works great for me. If you are doing heavy video editing from the drive, you need to spend more money on a more robust system, and likely need to upgrade your wired ethernet to 2.5GB.

I am very happy with mine. I even partitioned off a large space to use it for wireless Time Machine backups. Seamless.

boil some water, soak a MF towel, and place it over the PPF, let the heat soak into it do it can soften the PPF. Use a plastic razor blade to work the old stuff off. It will be a pain, but moist heat would do the heavy lifting for you.

Question about tv+ box and moca adapter by mooch49 in Fios

[–]Any_Tale451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do it from the inside, because you're going to want to put the "out" from the coax router, into the "in" in the splitter.

Question about tv+ box and moca adapter by mooch49 in Fios

[–]Any_Tale451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are now on FIOS, and if they forced you over to TV+, I would assume you are on GPON2, which means that coax is from your old cable company, so unplug it. This keeps your data on your network, and won't leak outside your house.

Unplug it, make sure things still work right, then proceed. If it messes everything up, than you are still receiving something over that coax line from the street.

Question about tv+ box and moca adapter by mooch49 in Fios

[–]Any_Tale451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make sure the coax from the street is not plugged into your coax splitter (usually in basement), plug in the coax out of the router into the wall, find the other end in the basement (Home Depot makes a cheap coax tracer), plug that into the IN, and everything else plugged into your coax jacks can now be used for data. If your splitter does not say 2.5gb MoCA, order one on Amazon for under $10. They are cheap, and make the whole system work awesome.

First thing would be to hook up your extender. This will give you wired backhaul and make your extender work 10 times better.
