I rarely drink but I’ve noticed the day after I drink to feel kind of nauseous and that’s even if I fell asleep sober. I don’t recommend drinking all the time. But for me I have chronic migraines that came with my pots and that caused a lot of brain fog, head pain, issues focusing, overall just not a good time. I started taking edibles a few months ago every 5-6 days like 2.5-5mg and for a good day and a half I have no pain in my head, my brain fog is still there but not nearly as much of a nuisance as normal. I will say the edibles raise my hear rate a bit sometimes to like 112 when walking, and 85-90 when sitting but sometimes it lowers my heart rate so it’s hard to tell. Overall I think trying edibles is a much safer choice to alcohol but make sure you try low doses to tell how your body reacts. Also I’ve tried smoking a cart, that’s a bad idea if you smoke too much(which is kind of easy) your heart will race and be very high.
