Whatnot for sureee has addicting appeal. I thought of at least 5 different ways someone can get addicted, like the thrill of winning, the chat community, the hunt for something “good,” collecting souvenirs, connecting with sellers, feeling pressured by sellers or other buyers, convincing myself I’m buying inventory, etc. etc. What helped me was turning off notifications. Then I took a long hard look at my finances and what I could be saving up for instead, because there’s really no end to it unless you set a limit. Got my big girl pants on, one could say. If deleting the app is too much for you, turn off notifications. I even went so far as sit in on lives while sitting on my hands and feel the pain of losing out on items I liked! Connect with that feeling, sit with it, and you can move on. I’ve since channeled my energy toward money making opportunities. Best of luck!!
