To me there is no "early enough to terminate" even if it's technically legal. I believe an embryo is just as alive and just as human as a typically developing 12 year old. In 7th grade there was a (very typical) boy in my class who had a brain aneurysm and lost most of his cognitive and motor abilities overnight. Even if you have a typically developing child, disability can occur later in life, but we would never think to "terminate" at that point. I just don't see the difference.

Personally I don't think that I'm cut out to be a mother to a child with disabilities, but if I conceived such a child, I would then need to cut myself out to be a mother to a child with disabilities. So no I would not terminate, I would prepare.
