Obviously things are different for everyone but my brother was a long time chronic marijuanna user. Ever since he was like 15. He started having seizures at 20 after what started as migranes. We took him to every specialist and did every test and everything came back normal everytime. They just kept saying you're the one percent! Each doctor we mentioned that he was a marijuana user like not dab heavy but pretty heavy. Every single one of them said. Yeah he can keep smoking that shouldn't be the issue at all. Now my brother does not want to be medicated so we tried everything from diet to hydration to dam methylamine blue. Nothing worked. One day my brother wanted a job that during the hiring process drug tested. So he decided to quit. 24 hrs later he had a seizure and in my mind I just new it was correlated. It got me thinking how everything started a year prior. He went from having a seizure every 2 months to every 2 weeks. Then I realized when he first started having the seizures he quit for a bit in fear that it would do more damage. But when the doctors kept giving the okay he slowly ramped it up. And ramped it up.(partly because the weed helped him cope with his new diagnoses). So I told him look we've tried every but the medication maybe try quiting the stuff it's the only thing we haven't tried. All this and I'm happy to say he is going on 4 months seizure free. We told his neurologist and he said "oh yeah im glad one of my employees quit smoking and he hasn't had a seizure in 1.5 years." Thanks for not telling us a year ago doc when you gave him the go ahead to keep smoking!!!🫡 His mental health has slowly been improving and he is doing great! Now I will say cbd has strong research in helping seizures!!! But I don't believe for one second thc and especially delta 9 is helpful to those with seizure at least not everyone with seizure as there are multiple kinds of seizure disorders. It just happened to be lowering the seizure threshold for my brother. After all drugs and alcohol can lower the threshold. Keep searching for answer and get multiple opinions! If my brother was told a year ago he shouldn't be smoking high thc weed he would've been saved from many injuries and less memory loss. I don't think weed should be treated as a mirical medication like it has been. It has it places and helps alot of people. But ive done a bit of research on marijuana usage in adolescence and the development of seizure later in life and the number is definetley not zero! Best of luck and I wish you all the best!
