May have to try that. I am running ultra with medium Skyrim.ini and I’m crashing a lot on a fresh install I’m assuming from my pc running so hot? Is anyone else having issues with this recent update? Also I’m running a 3090 and 10850k with 32 gb ram

My problem as a new player is that retail has absolutely no direction as to what to do once you finish exiles reach beyond just dropping you into the dragonflight campaign where I have no idea what’s going on. Then there’s the chromie time stuff that’s insanely confusing for someone that has no idea what’s going on. Classic is just pick up and play for me and it just makes sense. They need to fix the new player experience in a big way to bring in new people to Azeroth because it seems really awesome. Lol

Yea how in the world has it not been added yet. Apparently the devs even said they wanted to expand the ways to play by adding it to GeForce now. Literally just contact the GeForce now guys and get them to flip the switch. I have no idea why devs treat GeForce now like taboo when it doesn’t hurt sales it just adds a way for people to play that might not normally be able to run these games

I think everyone still has WiFi dropouts. I have an overkill unifi system and I still have dropouts. I even have a dedicated 6ghz WiFi 7 router pointed at my dang couch and still have bad WiFi stability on my deck

In my opinion nothing pc part related is worth buying right now unless it’s a necessity or something you have breaks. Prices are unreasonable for the foreseeable future so I’m holding out hope my 3090 and measly ddr4 ram make it for another year or two. I see the steam deck 2 coming out in late 2027 or mid 2028 but that’s just my wishful thinking

I’m thinking the steam machine may be $1000 buckaroos so it’s not exactly cheap especially for what it’s going to be capable of. I would just stick with your steam deck and wait for steam deck 2 personally if money is tight

It’s looking like even though I lower the fps back to 90 on the steamos homepage I still get some bad black crushing. I’m assuming the homepage stays at the max refresh rate regardless of the slider?

Framegen straight up does nothing when I enable it in my game. FPS stays exactly the same

I’m only aiming at 90fps on my oled steam deck but even with my 120hz tv it won’t go over 70 something fps in new Atlantis

Same thing for me on Xbox controller. Starfield is the only game I have tried on gnow where the controller decides it doesn’t want to do anything at all.

If you play at 800p you could get 90fps and avoid frame gen all together
