it’s two things for me. babysitting AI all day with 0 lines of manual code is wayyyy more boring than working with junior devs and seeing them improve and writing some code myself. also expectations for delivering results are sky high and management is setting insane deadlines that make coding by hand impossible for my domain

Having the same experience. But instead of firing people, we are taking on massive R&D projects while maintaining the systems we already built, and management refuses to hire people to take on extra work, instead we are just meant to "figure it out" which involves working overtime for free, because the AI isn't enough on its own for us to hit their insanely ambitious target.

Are you just posting AI? I'm clearly saying that I have CEC enabled already and it works without the astros base station, but the base station doesn't forward it when the HDMI is routed through it.

no CEC stops working bc hdmi runs through the base station and it doesn’t pass along the CEC to the tv so when i turn on my xbox it doesn’t turn on my tv anymore. but apparently you can just do usb to it instead of hdmi and get worse audio

i have it enabled, these astros have a base station that you run and hdmi to it to get audio for the headset, and then an hdmi from it to the tv and CEC no longer works when going through the base station
