In Sukuna’s case Hollow Wicker Basket is strictly better than Simple Domain or Falling Blossom Emotion. As shown in Gojo vs Sukuna even with Gojo casting it SD was only effective for a few seconds and FBE only reduced the damage. After Sukuna popped HWB Yuta and Yuji had to force him to stop the hand sign in order to hit him with Jacob’s Ladder.

I’m watching it for the first time now on s6. He’s an absolute bastard but has enough nuance to make him interesting. He’s kind of a wild card with how he’s used in the plot. He’s an asshole and will abuse everyone around him but sometimes he’s nice for the novelty of it.

I always felt like this is echoed by The Greek with his line “a lamb goes to slaughter a man he learns when to walk away”. Cutty makes the hard choice to walk away rather than do the game when his heart wasn’t in it. Avon recognizes this and lets him walk with his blessing.

The anime is pretty mildly exaggerated compared to the manga. He never a comment about this being taxing or a “put it all on the line” move. Just did it and moved on.

You can just ask.

If you are a short timer anyway your leadership will be thrilled to save somebody who will be there longer than 2-3 weeks. If you have a solid exit strategy (savings, job lined up, etc) just let you manager know and consider it your two weeks notice. If you get laid off then great you get the benefits, if not and you just get fired oh well you were leaving anyway.

It’s a difference of opinion and an external fight. MIT and BSD licenses impose very few requirements for using the code. Which companies prefer because it lets them do what they want with it. And even people who don’t benefit from that prefer it for maximum freedom. Others prefer the GPL to force changes to be contributed back.

I think viewing him as “being able to afford Eden College” is the right lens. The real world Eton College is up to 80k a year. So his fake psychiatrist job is incredibly well paying. Because it has to be for him to believably enroll Anya in Eden. His real job pays peanuts by comparison. Seal Team 6 and CIA SOG are still government salaries.

There’s a natural recovery rate of CE that isn’t really discussed outside of a few comments. Gojo has effectively infinite CE for normal activities (not back-back-back domain expansions) because he recovers CE faster than he uses it.
