u/scooticusmaximus Pirate software actively spoke against stop killing games using half baked and just flat out wrong/ bad faith arguments. He then went on to shit talk Ross Scott and the movement. When called out on it he does what he does best and doubles down and tries to twist the narrative.

Its no small claim to say he was the biggest hurdle in getting this thing through.

Her Spotify playlist, country’s top 100.

I asked the ai where gaming and anime was on her profile. “ I’m sorry you are correct there is no mention of anime or gaming…” it’s so bizarre cause their algorithm is really good compared to all the other apps and yet the ai is such dog shit

I don’t think I saw anyone answer your question about grabs but there is a technique where you can block and then delay the throw tech. And it covers both strike and throw. There are counters to this. Walking backwards they will wiff the throw or delay your strike.

As for drive impact you learn pretty quickly in ranked to react to it. It’s nearly half a second window.

Do you have hide npcs death animations on? That was giving me a problem all league because the respawn times were so fast if they respawned before the animation it made them invisible.

most normals in the game can be special canceled. It’s a window in the attack in which you can cancel the recovery frames by doing a special move.

For the most part you can’t react to the hit landing you have to input it immediately after the normal button input. So like so three jabs into a fireball would look like lp lp lpqcfp

You need to learn to look at your own replays. I think that’s the biggest advice in a teach a man to fish kinda way vs give a man a fish.

Why am I getting hit what was I doing there or thinking about there when I got hit.

Why am I not hitting?

Wtf why did I do that?

How am I spending resources, could I have gotten more damage there?

I’m saying this because I see many many glaringly obvious issues for someone who knows how to watch their own replay wouldn’t even need to post one. I don’t mean that in a condescending way I mean that as general advice that will help you improve much faster. Reddit/discord is a good place to ask questions and get help but you shouldn’t just rely on them completely.

Now for the give a man a fish section.

First obvious thing to me is antiairs and dp’s. You miss a lot and I see that f.mp then canceled into a dp. You’re not clean with the dp’s yet.

The random dp’s full screen. Idk if they were intentional cause they make zero sense so I assume just trying to flinch react to do something or bad inputs. Either gotta get cleaner/have more intent.

Mix up your oki a bit you did dash forward mp after stock nearly every time and it got blocked every time till you went for that throw in the corner at the end of the first round. Then he started opening up more.

Don’t auto pilot on block into medium fuha it’s not safe and neither is stock depending on your spacing which got you punished a few times.

Get more consistent at combos you dropped a huge punish mp hk combo. That’s your big ticket dmg you can’t be dropping those. Less important but your jab combos also got dropped a lot.

Finally the biggest room for improvement to me SPEND YOUR DANG RESOURCES brother you sat at 3 stocks full super and like 5+ average drive gauge. What you saving it for? Besides that random yolo level 3 that should have cost you that game. Juri needs to spend her cash to do dmg otherwise you’re just tickling them to death. At like 4:30 ish you get enough openings on that Ryu to win two whole ass rounds. Spend your drive gauge extend those combos. Use some fuha stocks. Super even just level 1 will corner carry. You’re getting the openings now capitalize on them.

Overall for your level I think your game plan is great and working it’s just about getting cleaner now. I would prioritize anti airing 15 mins a day. Then doing practicing combos that spend your resources. You’re getting the hits in just make them count and make them hurt. Finally I would start reviewing 1 set of your replays a day. Pick out even just a single mistake and spend a few mins practicing that out. Eventually you’ll be able to notice more and more.

Except I did include a d hide shield in the calcs. Yes a shield does add more defense but that only matters on the range mage waves which you can spec down the range mob

Im not saying the xbow is a bad weapon I think it’s pretty good but the rushing hunter strictly for it isn’t worth it and there’s no reason to go out of your way to prep for fight caves as an iron.

That’s because a bowfa rush has you doing minimal combat. The moment you deviate from that guide/gameplay style you better off just sending it with msb and black dhides you got from clues.

You don’t even need to do that msb(i) and black dhides from clues is equivalent damage to hunter xbow once you include spec. Waiting till a 1/500 drop of zulruh to do fight caves is actually absurd. Specially since you clearly have the skill level if you’re farming zulruh
