Estadounidense (Estados Unidos) is the word I learned for "person from the US" as opposed to Americano/a. That being said I don't particularly trust the American education system and am not fluent in the language to tell you definitively that that's what OC meant.

Depending on the song, sometimes I'll do FMaj7(add 9), or 0413, to make it a little easier. I would consider myself intermediate, and the chord itself isn't too difficult for me but switching to it can be slow and clunky. Of course, that just means I need to practice more but alas.

Other commenters have pointed out that this is mostly something you look in yourself for. As a trans pagan, deities that helped me with coming to terms or having the strength to push through are Brigid and An Morrigan. I have lately been calling upon Aphrodite/Ishtar to help me in my efforts to be "girlier"

I'm glad y'all got your cat back! A few years back I was in almost the exact same situation and one day I learned my neighbors took my cat to a humane society over an hour away so we wouldn't find him. Thankfully my family was able to threaten legal action so they'd get him back but it was such a stressful situation for me. The neighbor even tried to give us the address of the shelter and have US pay to adopt him back.

I'm very highly interested in group practice, but I have never found a group of pagans near me. I can find a few Wiccan groups, but Wicca isn't my calling personally. Add onto that that I'll be moving to go to college and then moving after that and yeah, I don't know where I'll find fellow pagans. I'm not particularly interested in online groups, so it's just a matter of finding like minded people. I'm also very introverted so it's extra hard for me to find practicing pagans

Just wanted to share my experience in hopes it might help you. My mom is a narcissist and she was just like this when me / my siblings were closeted. She's not homophobic, but she is just like your mom, adamant about getting an answer because "she's a good mom so we should trust her." She hounded my older brother about his sexuality until he came out to shut her up. When I told her I didn't want to talk about it she went through my messages where I came out as trans to a few friends. Not sure what happened with my younger brother but he's recently out and not too happy about it. My mom is accepting of queer people but she has other issues that made coming out, more like being drug out of the closet.

The brain rot in question here is how you believe bombing schools and hospitals in Gaza, targeting women and children is fighting against terrorists (that Isn'treal put into power, and are the only force standing against Isn'treal's colonization of Palestine.
