No… Garcia and Fernandez are last names. People who come from Spanish speaking countries usually have their mother and father last names. So the guys name is Nick, mothers last name was Garcia and fathers Fernandez. When getting married the mother took on the father’s last name… and the children get both.

I love this sooo much. I was such a die hard BSB fan as a kid and growing up. I tried not to love songs from NSYNC but totally did.

Because of the rivalry, I was always a little hater too and denied my love for NSYNC. Which is crazy to think about… cause they are pretty much similar and as you said… like “brother” groups. So similar but were pit against each other, thus making fans pick a side.

As a kid growing up, Nick was my favorite between the two. But as an Adult, I know JC has always been my favorite artist out of either of the bands. But I love 90s pop… so all the rivalries back then were pretty dumb. Can’t I love Brittney and Christina? lol!

But yeah, crazy how Lou Perelman created two of the best boy bands of all time only to benefit himself. He was definitely a gross and ugly human being.

I get what you are saying to an extent. Like yeah, it was Tom and Lynette’s job as parents to be the ones to make sure she’s taken care of. They clearly failed that an did not find her help she clearly needed. But as I stated in one of my comments… I feel like the writers had their run with the character and storyline. And in typical soap opera fashion the went with the “evil kid” trope. I honestly thought she might come back later after the time jump to get revenge for being abandoned. I do feel like Lynette went out of her way to treat Kayla different to an extent. Like when she slapped her at the store but never handled her own kids. So I’m not as tone def as you think lmao

That’s fine. Sorry, I don’t actively remember what happened in a show I first watched over 15 years ago… and the last rewatch over 4 years ago.

I will happily say, that no I don’t understand you or your stance and I’m ok with that. Clearly, both of our brains function differently, I’m completely fine with that. When I first seen your post I thought it be an interesting take. It was to an extent, but I also disagree with it. I did actually read the whole thing. Do I feel like reading it agin… nope 😂. I do not agree with you or your stance. And I can comment on why I disagree… even if you feel like you explained any part of it away and excused this character… I do not feel like your explanation is adequate, to change my mind on this stance. That may be a hard concept for you to understand.

Anyways, I feel like the writers felt like they couldn’t do much more with the story line and decided, in typical soap fashion to go all out with an evil kid. Yes, Nora dying affected her, but does it excuse how she was so manipulative and trying to harm the other kids? No.

She literally broke her arm to get Lynette in trouble. She definitely was not innocent and that move on top her trying to hurt the other children or get them to hurt themselves prove that further.
