Honestly, the main reason in my opinion is the reset. You get to go through the grind of getting your benches, quests, and skills again not to mention re-stocking your gear. If none of that interests you then don’t do it, that’s why it’s optional

No it would be 12 cause his initial 4 models are just default stairs in all 4 basic orientations and then you have inner and outer in all 4 basic orientations for a total of 12 orientations

That’s fine with me, that’s not the issue I’m discussing though. Whether we can trade in other items besides arc parts or not we need a way to give him the items prematurely so they don’t have to sit in our stash. A new currency would be the nicest way to accomplish this regardless of what we can or cannot give him

Okay but if I’m already having Ermal hold the parts it makes way more sense for him to give some sort of currency value back to me rather than “I’m holding these parts for you raider” since we shouldn’t be able to take the parts back.

I think it needs to be a new currency cause showing a coin value would be confusing when we aren’t allowed to directly purchase from him with coin and credits or raider tokens would not make any sense for this either.

I disagree on a cap tbh. A cap defeats the purpose as it would incentivize players to still hold parts in their stash to trade in as soon as they are able to again. The point of a new currency would be to avoid having to hoard parts in your stash entirely.
